Lu Yao lifted the Rock King's curse by flooding the Abyss with rapidly reproducing Slaughter Locusts, then recruited the restored Butterfly as an Apostle. Butterfly asked Lu Yao to rescue Nature Lady Winnie and immediately joined the fight against Fu Gu on the western border.

• Lu Yao arranged for the Yao Clan to move Slaughter Locusts and supplies into the Abyss, raising the number of extraordinary creatures until the Rock King's Old God's Curse was lifted.
• The Rock King regained his mind and revealed his powerful combat abilities, including the ability to shift between extreme offense and defense.
• Butterfly pledged loyalty to Lu Yao in exchange for a promise to rescue Nature Lady Winnie, and Lu Yao placed the Apostle's Mark on him.

• The Brain Worm explained that it sought to improve its Wisdom through communication and creation, offered its collected Flame of Faith and Beast Tamer's Leash to Lu Yao, and received permission to stay.
• The Brain Worm showed Mayor Botu its inventions, and after Botu dismissed most of them, it became eager to study the Yao Clan's tools and sciences.

• Bin Jiao treated a ghost patient, then delayed setting out on his recruitment mission by drinking, reading Temple Warrior, and playing Tribal Chess with Bamboo Tiger.
• Bin Jiao attended the Dragonkin gathering and recalled how Dragon King Pasha had chosen him for Dragonkin and bestowed the ability [Dragon Gate Ascent].
