  • After witnessing strange patterns and divine power reshaping the desert, Jian Xin told the Old Gods Society and began collecting crystal images of possible old-god traces.
  • Jian Xin traveled to Mystic Arts Country after Ao Shen told him enormous dragon tracks and signs of Divine Might had appeared there.
  • Ao Shen warned Jian Xin that an invisible dragon had destroyed the Black Chapel headquarters and might be an old Evil Dragon god tied to the Lord of the Holy Hall.

Jian Xin investigated the mysterious dragon clawprints appearing around Dragon Flag Island and concluded that they were an illusion created by a being that might not be a dragon. After he exposed an entity possessing Ao Shen, a powerful shadow appeared and the Immortal Crane recognized it as the True Lord.

Nitou helped Zaha, chief of the dwindling Temporal Tribe, secure a physician by accepting the tribe’s Hair Whip as collateral, then delivered Zaha’s Calamity Chest to Lord Yao’s Temple. Three years later, Nitou received a divine Blessing and became a Hero, and Lord Yao summoned him.

  • Nitou lent Zaha 2,400 Sea Shell Currency against the Temporal Tribe’s Hair Whip and sent Douzi to help him find a Yao Clan Physician.

Baroye then revealed that Zhou Wei had been trapped by Hermes during the ancient God War over Mystic Arts Country, which the gods had fought over because of a cave.

  • Lu Yao examined Yellow Dragonfly and learned that the Gathering Spirit could reproduce through living beings and collect information from worlds and their rules.

After two years of gathering information and chaos, Baroye approached the Goddess’s husk and prepared to turn the awakened Curse Worms’ ambush against them.

Lu Yao learned that Baroye had cleared Creation Cave, where the Feathered One Lahab had attacked a weakened Creation Machine. After collecting Brionac and absorbing the machine’s remains, Baroye discovered that Creation Machines came from the Spirit Race’s Spirit Foundation Mythology.

  • Baroye reported defeating the Curse Worms in Creation Cave and brought Lu Yao 9.44 million Flames of Faith.
  • Lu Yao learned that the Curse Worms were Lahab’s molts and descendants, and that Lahab had ambushed the Creation Machine while it was weakened by creating a world.

Lu Yao arranged care for the fallen Vanguard and learned that surviving Spirit Foundations might let him restore lives.
