Lu Yao and Isabelle used the Hui Jun Talisman to join Song Shiyi’s team at the Western Pole Palace, where they met Ding Hanzhen and learned about the palace’s shifting interiors. The group settled into the Kitchen God Shrine, leaving Lu Yao to wonder whether their expedition felt more like a vacation than a research project.

• Lu Yao and Isabelle teleported to the mist-covered Western Pole Palace and followed Song Shiyi to the team’s camp.
• Lu Yao inspected the Western Pole Palace and learned from its panel that it was a Mythological Wonder and part of Kunlun.
• Song Shiyi brought Lu Yao and Isabelle into the Kitchen God Shrine, where they met Wei Yingxue, Bai Xin, Hong Zhen, and Ding Hanzhen.
• Ding Hanzhen explained that the Imperial Guard Department had found a sealed tomb, a battlefield, and then a village inside the palace on separate visits.
• After dinner, Lu Yao watched a variety show in the Shrine while the others relaxed, and he wondered if the group had come on a vacation.

Lu Yao joined Ding Hanzhen’s team as they surveyed the Western Pole Palace and considered its history and possible connection to the Queen Mother of the West. Their investigation was interrupted when Pang Li was revealed to have been transformed into a Chang Person, leaving his identity and condition uncertain.

• Lu Yao and the team donned Signal Suits and began their field survey outside the Western Pole Palace.
• Ding Hanzhen used Painting Sand to explain the palace’s stilt-style construction and suggested it may have been built in the south before the Hua People acquired it.
• Ding Hanzhen theorized that the Hua Person who met King Mu of Zhou may have been an envoy of Kunlun, possibly sent by the Queen Mother of the West.
• Ding Hanzhen wondered whether the palace’s original owner might still be inside because the structure could not be moved or transformed through faith.
• Wei the Adjutant brought in Pang Li, whose body showed no pain or blood after the officer stabbed him and cut off his arm.
• Lu Yao used True Sight and identified Pang Li as a level 22 Chang Person with a transformed appearance and an unrecognizable identity.

Lu Yao learned that Xu Fu was the historical alchemist who found the Elixir of Immortality, feathered, and later declined. At the Western Pole Palace, Ding Hanzhen used Kitchen Food to discover that Pang Li’s true body had been separated from the Chang Person, and the team began investigating what caused it.

• Ding Hanzhen told Lu Yao that Xu Fu was the Xu Shi recorded in the Records of the Grand Historian, and that he had feathered after testing the Elixir of Immortality.
• Wei Qixiang brought Pang Li to Ding Hanzhen after Pang Li became a Chang Person inside the Western Pole Palace, and Ding asked Lu Yao and Hong Zhen to assist.
• Ding Hanzhen used Kitchen Food to reveal that Pang Li remained himself but was symbiotically linked to a Chang Person, while his true body remained inside the palace.
• Wei Qixiang explained that his squad had been stationed inside a village of 167 Chang People for an extended period, and that villagers spoke of a monster sleeping underground.
• Ding Hanzhen suspected that time inside the palace had caused Pang Li’s transformation, and Lu Yao suggested investigating the Chang People’s origins.

Lu Yao learned more about the Food Spirit Apostles and Pang Li’s condition while the team worked at Kitchen God Shrine. After Wei Qixiang reported that Hong Zhen had become a Chang Person and the Superintendent had disappeared, Ding Hanzhen returned with Hong Zhen’s true body and a Chang Person copy of himself.

• Lu Yao learned from Song Shiyi that Hong Zhen and Bai Xin were Food Spirits formed from red date cake and Sticky Rice Ball, and that their differing food preferences made them rivals in the kitchen.
• Pang Li told Lu Yao he had accepted losing his left arm and discussed prosthetics, his life in Haojing, and his service in the Imperial Guard Department.
• Lu Yao recalled Wei Qixiang’s account of the Puppet Master and the Chang Person records while Pang Li’s unexplained body replacement remained under investigation.
• Wei Qixiang returned to Kitchen God Shrine and reported that Hong Zhen had become a Chang Person and the Superintendent had disappeared.
• Ding Hanzhen returned two days later with Hong Zhen’s true body and introduced a cheerful Chang Person duplicate of himself.

Ding Hanzhen explained how he investigated Western Pole Palace, discovered that its Chang People were created through a life-and-death exchange, and met the Puppet Master who made them. The group realized the Puppet Master was a God-Bestowed with a hidden third eye and a prosthetic hand, leaving his identity and purpose in question.

• Ding Hanzhen described how Western Pole Palace rapidly transformed as more powerful outsiders entered and how its Chang People came from different eras, often after near-death experiences.
• Ding Hanzhen and Hong Zhen each entered a near-death state and became Chang People, confirming that Western Pole Palace exchanged their bodies through residual rule power.
• Ding Hanzhen followed the Kitchen Stove Candle to the clouds, found the stored bodies, and met the Puppet Master, who explained how he created and tested Chang People for the Zhou Son of Heaven.
• Ding Hanzhen retrieved his and Hong Zhen's bodies along with another Chang Person body, then recounted his findings to the group.
• Lu Yao questioned how the Puppet Master could have worked for thousands of years, and Ding Hanzhen revealed that the Puppet Master was a God-Bestowed with three eyes and a prosthetic left hand.

Ding Hanzhen connected the Puppet Master and the Hua Person to rival efforts by Kunlun and Penglai to win King Mu of Zhou’s favor after the Severing Heaven and Earth. Inside Western Pole Palace, Lu Yao saw through an illusory town and learned from Li Jiao that the master of the fairyland was beyond the heavens.

• Ding Hanzhen explained that Pang Li’s body had been badly pierced, while the Puppet Master’s ability had preserved it enough to be saved.
• Star Lord Lian Zhen linked the three-eyed, one-armed Puppet Master to Qi Gong Kingdom, and Song Shiyi suggested his mission resembled the Hua Person’s.
• Ding Hanzhen proposed that Kunlun and Penglai had both sought King Mu of Zhou’s support, and that the king had made their emissaries serve his own purposes.
• Ding Hanzhen took Hong Zhen, Song Shiyi, Lu Yao, and Isabelle into Western Pole Palace to treat Pang Li and investigate the Puppet Master.
• Lu Yao appeared in an illusory modern town, used Huang Jia’s Advanced Immunity to reveal its Chang Persons, and questioned the local elders.

Lu Yao investigated the Chang People’s beliefs about Dead Beasts and found one beneath a river after Marquis Sui’s Pearl detected a hidden treasure. He sent Brionac to fight the dinosaur-like monster alone while he watched.

• Lu Yao learned from Li Jiao and Magu that Dead Beasts supposedly killed people nearing the end of their lives, and that the Chang People flew kites to frighten them away.
• Lu Yao and Isabelle questioned the locals, but Isabelle’s Lingering Prayer found no dead nearby.
• Marquis Sui’s Pearl detected a concealed treasure beneath a river, and Lu Yao used Brionac to strike at it.

Lu Yao subdued the Ancient Old Dragon and learned the history of Yun Country, the Western Pole Palace, and Queen Mother of the West. After receiving the Queen Mother's relic, he gained access to Kunlun and the Nurturing All Life rule, taking on the title Queen Mother of the West.

• Lu Yao used the Dragon Binding Rope to weaken and restrain the Ancient Old Dragon while the Magic Spear fought it.
• The Ancient Old Dragon admitted it had accidentally killed Pang Li and explained that it was an Ancient Old Dragon who had lived in Yun Country for tens of thousands of years.
• The Ancient Old Dragon recounted how the Jiu Li Clan, Queen Mother of the West, Young Ji Jun, and the Zhou Son of Heaven were connected to the Western Pole Palace.
• The Ancient Old Dragon described Queen Mother of the West's departure under the title Sovereign of Heavenly Calamity and revealed the jade relic it had kept.
• Lu Yao received activation and usage rights to Kunlun and the Nurturing All Life rule, then accepted the Queen Mother of the West title.

Lu Yao claimed the Queen Mother of the West title, recruited the imprisoned Tyrannosaurus Rex as his apostle Asi, and left the Western Pole Palace with it concealed in Weeping Blood Amber. Meanwhile, Song Shiyi and Ding Hanzhen investigated the Puppet Master on Cloud Peak and concluded that Qi Gong Kingdom’s people were self-aware humanoid machines.

• Lu Yao learned that the Queen Mother of the West had left her title for a successor and that the Tyrannosaurus Rex had swallowed it while guarding the Western Pole Palace.
• Isabelle persuaded the insecure Tyrannosaurus Rex to join Lu Yao, who made it an apostle, named it Asi, and learned why the palace could not be moved.
• Asi explained that the Queen Mother of the West had incorporated the Western Pole Palace into Kunlun and prevented nearby Chang People from approaching it.
• Lu Yao concealed Asi inside Weeping Blood Amber and contacted Song Shiyi before leaving to meet Old Ding.
• Song Shiyi reunited with Ding Hanzhen on Cloud Peak, where they examined the blank-eyed Puppet Master and identified Qi Gong Kingdom’s people as self-aware humanoid machines.

Lu Yao and the committee investigated the Puppet Master and learned about Penglai’s ancient gift to the Zhou court and its rivalry with Kunlun. After Pang Li was rescued and the Western Extreme Country mission ended, the group received Great Qin credentials and gifts before Lu Yao returned to the Real Universe to sleep.

• Lu Yao examined the Puppet Master with Song Shiyi and Ding Hanzhen, who explained that the Puppet Master was a life-creation machine gifted by Saint Mother Wudang of Penglai to King Mu of Zhou.
• Ding Hanzhen restored the Puppet Master’s clothes and headscarf, ending the disturbance in Western Pole Palace and allowing him to resume his work.
• Lu Yao reported that a Dead Beast had attacked Pang Li and that a Voyager from Kunlun ruled the place, while Ding Hanzhen left the Dead Beast investigation to the Imperial Guard Department.
• After Pang Li was sent to Haojing for recovery, Ding Hanzhen ended the mission, and Wei Qixiang gave the team Divine Position Degree Tablets and Great Qin Visiting Cards.
• Ding Hanzhen cooked a meal that gave the diners powerful temporary buffs, then gave them Kitchen Food cured sausages before Lu Yao returned to the Real Universe and went to sleep.

Lu Yao activated the Queen Mother of the West’s Nurturing All Life rule across his anchored worlds and sent Atum into Kunlun. There, Atum encountered powerful Old Gods at Jade Pool, and Lu Yao began fighting them for their Flame of Faith.

• Lu Yao activated Nurturing All Life, which increased fertility and special-life birth rates, and applied the rule to all his anchored worlds except Resurrection Kingdom.
• Lu Yao opened Kunlun and sent Atum in as his agent, discovering the ancient land was a ruined wasteland.
• Lu Yao explored Kunlun, saw Wei Qixiang’s soldiers collecting corpses at Western Pole Palace, and then headed to Jade Pool.
• Old Gods bathing at Jade Pool attacked Atum, and Lu Yao identified their leader as Dragon-Beard Tiger, a level 199 Old God with an undying trait.
• Atum defeated Dragon-Beard Tiger, whose Flame of Faith scattered across the ground, and Lu Yao turned his attention to the other Old Gods for their faith.

Lu Yao used Black Bull to clear Old Gods from Kunlun, discovered the Jade Pool’s ability to reset attributes and produce peaches that extended lifespan, and then reached Jade Void Palace. There he learned that Shen Gongbao, Winged Immortal, and Weituotian were the only remaining Kunlun Gods.

• Shen Gongbao proposed using the Queen Mother of the West to draw Old Gods away while the three Gods modified their Apostles and Kinfolk at the Jade Pool.
• Lu Yao’s Black Bull slaughtered Old Gods, including the Nine Ugly Star Lords and Gao Yougan, earning him 12 million Faith Points.
• Lu Yao discovered that the Jade Pool could reset lifeforms’ attributes and grow small and large peaches that granted 360 years and 47,000 years of additional physical lifespan, respectively.
• Lu Yao entered Jade Void Palace and found Shen Gongbao, Winged Immortal, and Weituotian waiting there.
• Lu Yao asked about the other Kunlun Gods, and Shen Gongbao told him that only the three of them remained.

Lu Yao met Kunlun’s last three gods, learned that the mythology had fallen into ruin, and took the Main God position as Queen Mother of the West. With Kunlun’s Divine Logic now under his control, he began rebuilding its hierarchy while the three gods pledged to follow him.

• Shen Gongbao explained that Kunlun’s Wonders could not be used and that the divine mountain had already declined when he arrived; he also said the three gods had lured Old Gods away to help Lu Yao.
• Winged Immortal offered to serve Lu Yao, while Weituotian asked how to become stronger, and Lu Yao advised him to build population, faith, civilization, and access to powerful items and Wonders.
• Lu Yao created a Kunlun Divine Position and registered Queen Mother of the West as its Main God, becoming the core of Kunlun’s Divine Logic above Shen Gongbao, Weituotian, and Winged Immortal.
• Shen Gongbao told Lu Yao that Huagai Star had visited Kunlun but left because it seemed ruined and dangerous; he explained that joining was easy but leaving required a Main God.
• Shen Gongbao, Winged Immortal, and Weituotian pledged to follow Lu Yao and restore Kunlun’s glory.

Lu Yao learned the distinction between Voyagers and Main Gods and assessed the abilities and ambitions of the Kunlun Three Heroes after taking the title of Queen Mother of the West. While he hunted Old Gods across Kunlun, Shen Gongbao proposed that the three lure out the powerful Old God True Person Yu Ding to help Lu Yao and earn his favor.

• Shen Gongbao explained that Voyagers possessed Main God Spaces, while Main Gods ruled particular mythologies, and Lu Yao inspected the abilities of Shen Gongbao, Weituotian, and Winged Immortal.
• Shen Gongbao described how Mega-Myths rose and declined, and explained that the Three Heroes had joined ruined Kunlun hoping it would rise again.
• Lu Yao declined Shen Gongbao's offer of the Water Mirror, said he would clear out the Old Gods, and began hunting them across Kunlun.
• The Three Heroes discussed Lu Yao's combat prowess and interpreted his promise to call on them as a chance to prove their value.
• Shen Gongbao proposed luring out the Lord God Tier Old God True Person Yu Ding, and Weituotian and Winged Immortal agreed to help.

Lu Yao tested his combat strength against the powerful Old God True Person Yu Ding, using several Mythical Items to counter his transformations and lethal sword attack. After defeating him and claiming the Immortal Slaying Sword, Lu Yao began searching Kunlun for Nine Ugly Star Lords and Gao Yougan in hopes of obtaining their equipment.

• Shen Gongbao told Lu Yao that True Person Yu Ding was a former Voyager whose Immortal Slaying Sword had driven the Kunlun Three Heroes to flee.
• Lu Yao led Black Bull to the remote gap where Winged Immortal had trapped True Person Yu Ding and began fighting him.
• When True Person Yu Ding entered his second phase and his damage surged, Lu Yao used Brionac and the Dragon Binding Rope, but Yu Ding’s magical false bodies absorbed their effects.
• Lu Yao weakened True Person Yu Ding with the Sun Ship Dusk and tested Atum’s Twilight Hour, while his attempts to capture or control the Old God failed.
• True Person Yu Ding unleashed Sword Emerges Golden Radiance for 490,000 damage, but Lu Yao defeated him before he could attack again and collected his 5 million Flame of Faith.

The Queen Mother of the West defeated True Person Yu Ding and took control of Kunlun, then gave the Kunlun Three Heroes a Jade Pool Peach. Lu Yao later listed a large Jade Pool Peach on the Exchange and was stunned when it sold for 28.77 million Flames.

• The Kunlun Three Heroes watched as the Queen Mother of the West used her power and various items to overwhelm True Person Yu Ding, who died after unleashing his sword technique.
• After sweeping Kunlun, the Queen Mother of the West asked about the Old Gods’ items, then gave the Three Heroes a Jade Pool Peach before leaving; they asked her permission to sell it and headed to Blue Bridge.

• Lu Yao reviewed expensive Exchange listings, including Protector of Wizards and Swift Deer, but decided neither was worth buying.
• Lu Yao bought a Wish Lily for 42 million Faith and wished for He Clan's Jade.
• Lu Yao paid one Godhead to obtain He Clan's Jade, which fused with Marquis Sui's Pearl and awakened Sui Zhu and Bi.
• Lu Yao transformed Sui Zhu and Bi into its Lucky Rat form and considered sending it to the sixth floor of the Abyss to subdue Anomalous Objects.

Lu Yao used Lucky Rat to subdue the Dark God’s Anomalous Objects and then invested 6.5 million Faith in the Butterfly Goddess’s Lepidoptera Civilization. After the Messenger of the Gods identified Lu Yao as the investor and speculated that he collected unusual beings, the Butterfly Goddess worried that his generous investment concealed a dangerous interest in her.

• Lu Yao sent Lucky Rat to subdue Peerless Mighty Bear, Snake Snake Snake, Circulating Belt, and other Anomalous Objects, turning them into cards.
• Lu Yao checked the Title God rankings and saw that the Butterfly Goddess had been losing recently.
• Lu Yao visited the Investment Center, reviewed the Sleepless Civilization’s growth, and found the Butterfly Goddess’s struggling Lepidoptera Civilization.
• Lu Yao invested 6.5 million Faith in the Lepidoptera Civilization, and the Butterfly Goddess contacted him to thank him.
• The Messenger of the Gods identified Lu Yao to the Butterfly Goddess and suggested that he might want to collect her like an unusual creature.
• The Butterfly Goddess asked whether she could refuse the investment, then grew deeply worried about Lu Yao’s intentions.

Lu Yao assigned the sixth level of the Abyss to Ju and approved an upgrade to the Sun-Forging Bay Stepper, then examined a Sacrificial Offering from the Sand Treasure King and supported the Treasure Mimic clan. He turned his attention to the Sun Kingdom on Continent Island and found its ecosystem transformed, with gene-awakened creatures and camel beasts demanding better treatment.

• The Lucky Rat collected all 1,479 Anomalous Objects on the sixth level, and Lu Yao left it and the objects in Ju's care while approving Ju's request to use them to improve the Sun-Forging Bay Stepper.
• Lu Yao received a Universal Key from the Sand Treasure King and discovered that the offering was made by the leader of the Treasure Mimic clan, which had built a successful Treasure Box Association in Immortality City.
• Lu Yao raised the Sand Treasure King's level to LV45, praised its development, and ordered the Blood Knight of Mist Country to support the Treasure Mimic race.
• Lu Yao checked the Sun Kingdom after Tyrant reported that the King of Light had sealed the border for a hundred years and found flying whales, sea-surfing wolves, fighting trees, and camel beasts protesting their working conditions.
• Lu Yao discovered that the camel beasts and fighting trees had awakened Gene Sequences and began consulting Continent Island's World Encyclopedia.

Nefeli reported that the Sun Kingdom’s hundred-year plan had awakened new peoples and sparked labor disputes and demands for autonomy. The King of Light defended diversity and self-governance, while worrying that the Bird Spirit’s promised visitors still had not arrived.

• Nefeli told the King of Light that more than sixty thousand camel beasts were striking and that unequal treatment of the Sea Cows and Zhouzhou People had fueled their anger.
• Nefeli recounted how the hundred-year plan used Gene Sequences to awaken new species, including Sea Cows and Zhouzhou People, and how the Sun Kingdom helped the Jiaoren and their derivative peoples establish communities.
• Nefeli reported that islanders and mountain orcs were also demanding autonomy, and the King of Light ordered that their traditions and territories be protected.
• The King of Light told Nefeli that the Sun Kingdom must serve the whole world and allow new peoples to compete for civilization’s future, prompting her to reconsider the kingdom’s role.
• The King of Light asked whether the Bird Spirit still guarded the Star-Gazing Altar, and Nefeli said it continued predicting that an advanced civilization would arrive within ten years despite fourteen failed predictions.
