During the previous round on the Starry Sky Walkway, Hogwarts's two teams had lost Neville and Ron. They had only made it through and obtained a key thanks to Fleur's sudden inspiration.
Everyone had expected there to be a second key ahead.
But they had not expected the second key to appear before them so quickly!
Although they still did not know what the second key was for, that did not stop them from recognizing it as an extremely crucial item.
Upon seeing the key sealed at the center of the enormous diamond-shaped block of ice, Fleur froze for a moment. Then she slowly took several steps back and smiled at the others, whose gazes had settled on her.
"I already have one."
Objectively speaking, the more of these items that were bound to play a critical role they possessed, the better. But that would undoubtedly mean taking on greater competitive risks.
Beauxbatons had only Fleur left. Her decision to withdraw at this point was indeed wise.
