"—Those two men pulled out sticks—I mean, wands—and took out what they'd wrapped up. Quite a few black frogs fell out of the package. One of them made a frog fly into the mouth of that motionless postman."

In the dim Wizengamot courtroom, Lawrence recounted the scene he had witnessed on that rainy day, a sight that had utterly overturned his worldview.

Amelia Bones, who had replaced Fudge as chief judge, the Wizengamot tribunal, Dumbledore, the Order of the Phoenix, and the three young wizards on trial.

Everyone stared intently at Lawrence, who had come from the Muggle world. No one cared about his halting manner of speaking; they focused only on the scenes he described.

As Lawrence spoke, fury gradually rose in Amelia's eyes. Sirius's eyelid twitched incessantly, and the members of the Order of the Phoenix were beside themselves with rage, as if they might rush forward at any moment and tear Fudge to pieces!

"In the end, the postman stopped moving. After confirming he was dead, the two men in trench coats... uh, suddenly disappeared."

"And then?"

Madam Bones once more became the formidable judge, asking in a deep voice.

"I knew the police would arrive there soon."

Lawrence looked uneasy.

"I did consider telling the police everything I'd seen, but I thought... they probably wouldn't believe any of it. So I left before they arrived."

"Then!"

Madam Bones loudly asked the question on everyone's mind.

"Those two men. I assume you still remember what they looked like?"

"Yes, Your Honor."

Lawrence answered with certainty. He had been in this courtroom all along and had long since recognized who had murdered the Muggle postman.

When Lawrence pointed at Delix and another Auror inside the fire cage, the uproar nearly blew the roof off!

"I didn't do it!"
