In the entire wizarding world, aside from old commercial giants like the Malfoy family, there were probably few who could compare to Professor Breen in wealth!
Hermione was stunned as well.
The idea for her organization had actually been inspired by an experience she had shared with Professor Breen.
At the time, she had eagerly invited Professor Breen to join her in speaking up for House-elves' rights, but...

Hermione blinked, realizing where the problem lay.
"The Society for the Protection of Intelligent Magical Creatures?"
Hermione asked hesitantly.
"That's right—"
Amosta nodded approvingly at Hermione's quick reaction.
"Not merely House-elves, but intelligent magical creatures. Don't you think that House-elves aren't the only ones in the wizarding world who suffer unfair treatment?"
That was true enough—
Hermione bit her lower lip.
But fighting for fair rights for all intelligent magical creatures... wasn't that a little beyond her abilities?
"Here's the situation—"
Amosta stopped being mysterious.
"Next school year, Hogwarts will undergo some changes.
"First of all, you'll be adding an extra course. Oh, don't worry. Like physical education class, this newly established course won't be included in the O.W.L.s or N.E.W.T.S examinations for the time being. It's only a trial—"

Harry put Hermione's absurd organization out of his mind and asked with interest,
"Will you be teaching it, Professor Breen? What will it teach us?"
"Oh, this special course will be taught by professional instructors, Harry—"
