The two blazing masses of light hanging above the lake rapidly expanded. Their radiance swept across the ice, melting it, while the lake water boiled in an instant.

The countless creatures living at the bottom of the icy lake sensed such heaven-shaking power and desperately swam away.

But they could not outrun the expanding spheres of light. The instant they touched the radiance, they were vaporized completely, leaving not even the slightest trace behind!

The lake water evaporated as well. Billowing white steam surged into the sky under the gale, forming what looked from afar like the mushroom cloud of a nuclear explosion!

By the time the two spheres of light beneath the bleak sky finally stopped expanding, they had occupied nearly half the vast lake.

Battered by the violent winds and the lake water surging onto the shore, the conifer forest bordering the icy lake suffered utter devastation. Towering pines were flattened one after another!

The ever-intensifying storm finally swept into the sky, churning the layered clouds with the force of a sweeping invasion and clearing away the dark clouds that had blanketed the land for days.

For the first time in a long while, cold, dim crimson sunlight spilled across the earth.

The blazing radiance gradually thinned. When it faded and the explosions ceased, Amosta and Grindelwald stood facing each other at the center of countless flickering threads of electricity.
