The three from the British Ministry of Magic followed the mysteriously appearing attendant out of the resplendent banquet hall and into the corridor outside.

Attendants serving the banquet streamed continuously along the corridor that encircled the bronze pillars supporting the center of the hotel.

After a smooth ride, the elevator arrived on the seventh floor.

Before the doors opened, Alastor had already used his magical eye to inspect the outside. There was no ambush, and even the maze-like corridors had very few guests.
