"Ah, I know—it was Malfoy!"

Ron suddenly shouted, grabbing Harry's hand in excitement. Harry nodded too, his eyes alight.

Ron's shout drew the attention of most of the young wizards in the common room, and the students all turned curious looks their way.

"What is it, Harry, Ron?"

Neville, who had been fiddling with his wand nearby, glanced over twice before walking over to ask.

But Harry and Ron had no time for Neville. They pinned the little boy between them, one on each side, and Ron's voice trembled.

Chazel went pale, hunching his shoulders as he tried to wriggle free from Harry and Ron's grip.

"Don't be scared, kid—"

Ron patted Chazel's shoulder with an air of worldly authority.

"That's right, you and your girlfriend, in the common room—"

Chazel nodded timidly.

"At the time, I wanted to ask you to give my Wolf-Fang Frisbee back. You seemed a little strange then, really impatient. You said you didn't have time right now and that I had to wait a few days. I thought... you meant to keep it and play with it for a few days yourself."

Ron rolled his eyes, then looked at Harry.

"No question about it. What this kid saw then was Malfoy and Parkinson!"

Harry nodded excitedly too.

"What happened next?" Harry asked in a low voice. "What did Ma—I mean, what did Ron and Pansy do?"

"You broke up in the common room, then each went back to your dormitory—"
