Harry stared blankly at the door.
For months, the door that had often appeared in his dreams—the one Voldemort seemed obsessed with—had finally materialized more clearly before his eyes.
This black door had also caused a misunderstanding.
He had once thought that Malfoy had gone to Borgin and Burkes to buy an Alchemical Device capable of breaking seals in order to open this door for Voldemort.
But in reality, Malfoy's task had been to open Professor Breen's office and take the wand belonging to the Dark Witch.
Harry finally felt that something was wrong.
He had viewed things through dreams many times before, but in every one of those experiences, Voldemort himself had been present.
So what was happening now?
He was following Sirius, but Voldemort had not appeared?
"Sirius!"
The incorporeal Harry shouted desperately, trying to remind him to turn around and look, because, because—
But just as Harry had expected, Sirius could not hear a thing.
Sirius began moving. He walked down the dim, cool corridor with firm, decisive steps, occasionally breaking into a short jog. Then he pushed open the door and entered.
Even though he was worried about Sirius's safety, Harry could not help taking a few more looks at the room beyond the door.
After all, this dream had tormented him for long enough. Absurd things had happened to him more than once, but he had never experienced anything like this.
It was a vast circular room, and everything was black, including the floor and ceiling.
Many doors were set into the black walls around them. They were all identical and unmarked.
Sirius clearly had not come here for the first time. He knew exactly which door to open and confidently headed for the one opposite the door they had used to enter the room.
