"They're here, they're here!"
Harry soon heard hurried footsteps beyond the doorway Luna had sealed shut. Judging by the chaotic noise, quite a few Death Eaters had come to search this way.
Since Luna could easily blast this door apart, Harry knew he could not count on it to hold the Death Eaters back.
Glancing at the Firebolt in his hand, Harry hesitated, then decided not to use it again.
The rooms in the Department of Mysteries were spacious, and their ceilings were half as high as the Great Hall at Hogwarts, but that was still not enough room for the Firebolt to truly fly.
Besides, that earlier "Accio" had made Harry realize that Malfoy was not the only quick-witted one among the Death Eaters.
Suddenly falling from midair at high speed was no fun at all.
"Stop looking, Luna. We need to get out of here. You can study it next time!"
Luna had practically thrown herself against the enormous tank. Her cheek, pressed and distorted against the glass wall, was cast an emerald green and looked rather eerie.
"It's a shame I didn't bring a camera—"
Even as Harry dragged her away, she greedily stared at the large and small slimy, pale, disgusting things in the water.
"If this got published in Dad's magazine, the Ministry of Magic would have nothing to explain."
Harry automatically ignored Luna's nonsense and pulled her around the enormous tank at a run. It seemed that escaping from the Hall of Prophecy had used up all his luck. This room containing the huge tank had only two doors leading out.
One was the door they had entered through, while the other, leading to another room, was on the opposite wall.
Harry seized Luna's wrist and sprinted desperately toward the door across the room,
