Dumbledore's assent rang across the snowy plain, leaving many of the wizards who had followed them here to stop Amosta staring at one another. Vip Draegen, at their head, darkened in expression and pressed his lips together as he took several quick breaths.

"I think Dumbledore must have gone mad!"

As Fawkes's tail feathers burned away between heaven and earth, Amosta smiled.
