An older woman's voice rang out from Amelia's hospital room. Hearing it, Amosta and Remus immediately stopped outside the door. Remus opened his mouth in astonishment, wondering if he had misheard. Perhaps the woman had called out "Amos" or "Amost."

Amosta's disguised face did not show much surprise. It remained as calm and unreadable as ever, though his usually clear, penetrating eyes had deepened, their emotions impossible to discern.
"I wasn't lecturing Amelia, dear."
An equally elderly man replied.
"I may not fully understand what being an Auror entails, but I do know that your abilities must match your work. Amelia, if you were injured as soon as you started, that means your abilities are not yet enough to handle this job. Perhaps you need more time to mature.
