Because of last night's incident, many MACUSA employees had become more cautious. Some of the wizards originally assigned to the night shift had collectively taken leave. Aside from a few guards and patrolling Hit Wizards, the lobby was almost deserted.

Amelia led the black dog toward the elevators. As they approached the elevator hall, she swiftly slipped behind a pillar. After confirming that no one had noticed her strange behavior, she let Sirius return to human form.

"You mean that vampire is downstairs?"

Amelia lowered her voice and asked in surprise.
