Amosta defended Hogwarts from Ministry pressure and prepared the champions for the Triwizard Tournament’s final task, while Harry and his friends faced the trials and the fallout from the Azkaban breakout. The tournament ended, but Harry was accused of murder and remained at Grimmauld Place as Voldemort and the Order prepared for what came next.

Amosta gathered allies, negotiated with the Druids, and helped block Umbridge’s appointment, while the Ministry and Board of Governors moved to pressure Hogwarts. As the school struggled with funding and food, Draco weighed his loyalties and Amosta returned amid a Daily Prophet photo stunt.

  • Amosta recruited Cacus, Ludo, and Rufus Scrimgeour to support his plans, then met the Centaurs and Druids and negotiated a place for them in the wizarding world in exchange for sheltering his endangered friends.
  • Amosta’s golden fire filled the sky over Hogwarts, and he later explained that he had driven Aragog and the Acromantulas deeper into the Forbidden Forest so the third task could take place safely.
  • Fudge and Lucius Malfoy brought Umbridge to Hogwarts, but Amosta and Dumbledore challenged her to prove her teaching ability through a duel against Hermione, Neville, and Luna.

Arc 42The Forbidden Forest Task

Amosta defied the Ministry and secured Hogwarts’ funding while preparing the champions for the Triwizard Tournament’s final task. The task began as Voldemort’s Death Eaters broke prisoners out of Azkaban, and Harry, Hermione, and Ron pursued the other teams through the forest.

  • Amosta publicly condemned the Ministry’s appointment of Umbridge and declared Hogwarts would no longer submit to the Board of Governors after it cut the school’s funding.
  • Amosta brought Hogwarts enough gold to keep it running for a year, while Fudge planned to arrest him and Madam Bones persuaded him to wait until after the tournament.
  • Hermione chose Harry and Ron as her teammates, while Cedric chose Neville and Luna, and Amosta set the final task in the Forbidden Forest with Hogwarts students acting as examiners.
  • Lucius led the Death Eaters through the Department of Mysteries to Azkaban, where they calmed the Dementors, freed Vitia Cliodna and other prisoners, and began their escape.
  • Amosta explained that each team would enter a different part of the forest and compete to collect School Emblems, and Hermione led Harry and Ron into the task.

Arc 43The Four-Team Trial

Harry, Hermione, Ron, and the other champions defeated Slytherin together, then crossed a deadly glass walkway and entered separate trials in a frozen realm. Harry and Hermione’s attempt to confront a Stone Monster ended with them blasted out of the Secret Realm, while the other teams emerged from different challenges.

  • Fleur crashed Draco’s team from their brooms, and Harry, Hermione, and Ron defeated Viktor’s team and took its School Emblem.
  • Madam Bones told Dumbledore and the judges that dangerous Death Eaters had escaped from Azkaban, and Amosta urged the Ministry officials to remain calm.
  • Draco’s Slytherins fought Cedric’s team, then Fleur’s and Viktor’s teams joined the battle until Harry disarmed Draco and the champions defeated Slytherin together.
  • Draco revealed that the first trial required all four teams to contribute to Slytherin’s defeat, and the School Emblems opened portals to the next challenge.

Arc 44The Tournament and the Arrest

Harry and Hermione helped the champions clear their challenges and finish the Triwizard Tournament, just as the Ministry crisis over the Azkaban escape turned against Harry. After Amosta stopped Harry’s arrest, Harry stayed at Grimmauld Place while the Ministry, Voldemort, and the Order of the Phoenix prepared for what came next.

  • Harry and Hermione defeated the Stone Monster by exploiting its attack pattern, then joined the other champions in finding ways to clear their challenges.
  • Viktor and Fleur baited the Stone Monsters into attacking each other, and the group defended the lighthouse against waves of ice monsters until they obtained the clusters needed to melt the sealed key.
  • Hermione used the cyan lights to navigate the dark lake route and retrieve its key, then Harry caught the golden key and the champions opened the Triwizard Cup together.
  • After the tournament, Sirius told Harry, Hermione, and Ron that Death Eaters had escaped Azkaban, and Amosta took them from Hogwarts to the Dursleys’ home before the Ministry could detain Harry.
