Arc 37The New York Blood Hunt

The arc ended with the vampires’ blood magic surging toward Amosta, Amelia, and Sato Ryuhei as an object shot from Amosta’s space pouch.

  • Amosta visited Amelia in hospital with Remus, and the Detts recognized his name as that of Bena’s child after learning he had grown up in a Muggle orphanage.
  • Amosta and Newt examined Lait, and Amosta retrieved Salazar Slytherin’s crest from the Basilisk after discovering it might be a key.

Arc 38The Vampire’s Resurrection

Amosta was arrested after Chago’s murder, while Amelia uncovered her family connection to him and enlisted Sirius to help investigate. They traced the stolen fang to a vampire plot at MACUSA, where Grevis revealed his betrayal and his bargain to escape a fatal curse.

  • Amosta destroyed the vampires attacking him, identified their surviving ally as Morgans, and met Graves when the barrier opened.
  • Graves took Amosta to MACUSA for questioning, and Amosta examined the fang and found a blood sea linked to a young vampire in a ruined hall.

Amosta helped defeat the resurrected Vampire progenitor and returned to Britain as Voldemort’s threat grew. At Hogwarts, he uncovered Slytherin’s ancient domain and learned the Ministry planned to place someone at the school.

  • Grevis ordered the vampires to kill Sirius, Amelia, Selena, and Eriel, but Sirius summoned Fawkes and a group of Aurors to fight back.
  • Graves killed Morgans and used a ritual to send his soul into the Vampire progenitor’s shell, while Amosta awoke in New York and recognized the threat of a Horcrux.
  • Graves claimed immortality, but Amosta exposed his attempt to use the progenitor as a vessel, and Graves vanished in golden lightning after casting the Killing Curse.

Amosta maneuvered against Fudge’s attempt to control Hogwarts while Voldemort investigated Slytherin’s vault and prepared a task before the Triwizard Tournament. Percy left the Ministry and joined Remus’s workshop, while Amosta recruited Cacus to help address growing unrest and reach Secret Witchcraft practitioners.

  • Amosta told Dumbledore that Voldemort feared what he had found in Slytherin’s vault, while Old Nott reported the vault’s emeralds to Voldemort and drew his alarm.
  • Amosta returned to Hogwarts, set an exam for his physical education class, and had Lucius tell Voldemort that Fudge planned to appoint Umbridge and that the Ministry might pressure the school.
