Harry and Neville survived a brutal boat contest, then Amosta’s immense Patronus drove off the Dementors and left him holding one captive. As Harry learned of Sirius Black’s betrayal and confronted his own desire for revenge, Amosta forced him to face what killing Black would mean.

  • Harry and Neville escaped the boat race’s traps, fought a dark-magic-corrupted Sinkpunk, and were rescued after both fell unconscious.
  • Amosta summoned a gigantic Tengshe Patronus to repel the Dementors during the Quidditch match, then trapped them in a black glass bottle.

  • Amosta discovered that Sirius was hiding in the Shrieking Shack, but Sirius escaped and Apparated to the Black family residence before Amosta caught him there.
  • Sirius told Amosta that Peter Pettigrew had betrayed James and Lily, and Amosta agreed to help find Peter while refusing to let Sirius search Hogwarts alone.
