Shinichi Hyuga proved his talent to the Hyuga Clan and won permission to study the Scroll of Seals, then began learning sealing and sensing techniques from Kushina. He identified the masked man as a likely surviving Obito Uchiha and left Kushina weighing how Obito could have become hostile.

• Shinichi impressed the Hyuga Clan by using advanced Gentle Fist techniques in a trial against Hiashi, then learned that Minato and Kushina had come to request Hyuga guards for Kushina’s childbirth.
• Hiashi arranged for Hizashi and eight Hyuga ninja to guard Kushina, then asked Hiruzen to let Shinichi study the Scroll of Seals so he could learn the Flying Thunder God Technique.
• Danzo made Shinichi prove his aptitude by defeating Kakashi, and Shinichi won their match before Minato gave him access to the scroll.
• Shinichi studied the scroll, created Shadow Clones to record forbidden techniques, and asked Hiashi for the clan’s sealing scrolls to study the Caged Bird Seal.

Obito’s return led to the Nine-Tails attack, but Minato, Kushina, Shinichi, and the Hyuga Clan saved the village and Kushina’s life. Afterward, Shinichi became a Special Jonin and joined Shibi Aburame’s unusual squad, whose first sparring match tested their skills.

• Minato confronted Obito at Rin’s grave, learned that he intended to remake the world, and warned Hiruzen and Fugaku that Obito was alive.
• Obito infiltrated Kushina’s delivery, stole her after she gave birth to Naruto, and extracted the Nine-Tails before Minato rescued her from the lake.

• Shibi Aburame’s team went to Jalan City, where Shinichi was captured by traffickers and discovered dozens of imprisoned children, including Kawa.
• Shinichi and his teammates rescued the children, but the black-robed fighter escaped and the team failed to find the rogue ninja they had been sent to pursue.
• Minato investigated the unknown fighter’s connection to hidden factions, while Danzo ordered Orochimaru to pause his operation and eliminate loose ends involving the Aburame and Hyuga Clans.
• Shinichi trained with Might Guy and Shisui, developing his taijutsu and experimenting with chakra nature transformations for new techniques.
• After eight Hyuga died in battle, Orochimaru asked Hiashi and Hizashi to support him and Danzo, and the Hyuga suspected he was targeting their clan.

• Shinichi and Minato faced the fallout from the Cloud Ninja attack on the Hyuga Clan, while Minato assigned Kakashi and Shisui to help protect Shinichi.
• Cloud Ninja attacked the compound during Hinata’s birthday celebration, but Shinichi, Shin Hyuga, Kakashi, Shisui, and the Branch Family defeated the intruders.
• Konoha and Kumogakure exchanged threats over the attack, and Shin Hyuga refused to surrender any Hyuga while Konoha prepared for war.
