He began preparing for its competitions, then drew a crowd with his Spirit Chef skills before a young man challenged his right to use the stall.

• Wang Teng chose Dragon Blood Scarlet Gold, a Venerable-level star core, and a Beast Skin Scroll from the Five Burials Star Treasure Vault, then activated the scroll’s patterns with all eleven Primal Force attributes.
• Luo Fu Te presented Wang Teng with a True God Level Genius Contract, and Wang Teng joined the Purple Flame Lineage and received a residence on World Island.
• Wang Teng ordered Paine and Cha De to infiltrate the Black Skeleton Starry Sky Thieves, then entered the Thunder Domain and defeated Le Tun to claim Heavenly Thunder Mountain.
• Wang Teng encountered Vampire Darkbreeds in the Candle Dragon Territory, defeated them, and discovered someone hiding inside a Turtle Shell that he took into his Devouring Space.
• Wang Teng met Gu Luo aboard the warship to the Sub-Profession Alliance Headquarters, caught a Soul Devouring Jellyfish, and won Gu Luo’s Void Fishing Rod.
• Wang Teng told the Great Qian Empire grandmasters he would enter every Sub-Profession competition, then revealed his Spirit Chef Great Grandmaster skills and opened a stall on Spirit Food Street.
• Wang Teng perfected his Spirit Chef attainment and sold hundreds of servings of Ice Fire Drunken Crab before a young man claimed the stall and ordered him to leave.

Wang Teng won a mineral gambling contest, secured rare treasures and materials, and entered the Exchange Meet after declaring he would compete in seven Sub-Professions. He cleared all seven floors of the Illusion Heart Tower to lead the first round, then departed with the other advancing contestants for the competitions on three dangerous planets.

• Wang Teng defeated Ti Du’s retainer, beat Ti Du with the Thunderclap Brick, and earned a fortune selling Spirit Food before heading to the Trading District with Yu Xiangxiang and the Grandmasters.
• Wang Teng fought off members of the Bone Fiend Sect who tried to take his purchase, while Luo Fu Te intervened against Pu Lao and Wang Teng collected apologies and compensation from his attackers.
• Wang Teng and Gu Luo joined a mineral gambling contest against Ti Jing’s team, and Wang Teng provoked Ti Du into overpaying for an ore that yielded far less than its purchase price.
• Wang Teng’s small ore revealed a Soul Origin Crystal, securing his victory and drawing offers from several family heads, but Wang Teng kept the crystal and enforced the Ti Family’s wager payment with Luo Fu Te’s help.
• Wang Teng registered for seven Sub-Profession competitions at the Exchange Meet, where Dan Chen announced that the champion would receive a God-level Spirit Cultivation Method and top-ten contestants could choose a method leading to the Saint level.
• Wang Teng cleared the Illusion Heart Tower’s first five floors, endured the sixth floor until his Spirit Power broke through to the Domain Lord Level, and then passed the seventh floor.
• Ti Long revealed that he had arranged with the Ma Family to kill Wang Teng on Medicine Garden Star, while Wang Teng’s allies celebrated his first-place finish in the opening trial.
• Dan Chen named Wang Teng the first-round leader, explained that the remaining competitions would take place on Medicine Garden Star, Spirit Beast Star, and Mine Star, and sent the contestants through their assigned portals.

Wang Teng used his clones to gather resources and challenge contestants across the Sub-Profession competitions while confronting Darkness Breeds and advancing his skills. The arc ended as his poison-path clone triggered a Saint-level lightning tribulation, which Wang Teng survived by facing it himself.

• Wang Teng split into three versions to enter Mine Star, Medicine Garden Star, and Spirit Beast Star, and his clones gathered ores, herbs, and beasts while he advanced his Sub-Profession skills.
• Wang Teng stole Cloud Immortal Nectar from the Dawnlight Slug, then made a Soul Contract with it in exchange for Holy Light Fire and access to its herb collection.
• Wang Teng rescued Le Yan and her companions from Zhu Liersi, defeated the Darkness Breed, cured the poisoned Le Family members, and drove off Lan Yu.
• Wang Teng and Le Yan’s group gathered herbs from the Dawnlight Slug’s cavern, where Wang Teng found rare ingredients and recruited the black ape Lao Hei as his bodyguard.
• Wang Teng returned to the competition, collected ingredients and insights across the different disciplines, and beat Ti Jing and Ti Du after taking their Ice Jade Yingying Fish.
• Wang Teng defeated another Darkness Breed pursuing the Tian Family, then began competing across the Sub-Profession areas with his clones and revealed three Heaven and Earth Strange Fires.
• Wang Teng advanced his Sub-Profession attributes, ranked second behind Bai Xian’er in medicine, and learned to make and cure the powerful poisons used in the competition.
• Yao Chen revealed his Great Grandmaster-level top-grade poison, and Wang Teng’s poison-path clone triggered a Saint-level lightning tribulation that Wang Teng faced with his own body and survived.

Wang Teng won the sub-profession competitions and defeated Dan Liu in alchemy, but Dan Liu’s defeat opened a rift that unleashed the Demon God and the Darkness Breeds. Wang Teng helped repel the invasion with the Great Five Elements Divine Sword Array, then watched the battlefield and the Sub-Profession Alliance Headquarters begin to fracture as darkness spread.

• Wang Teng cured the prisoners with his Six-Winged Celestial Devil Gu Insect, won the medical and poison competitions, and took first place in Spirit Chef arts with his Saint-level Ice God Mist Shadow Fish Dragon Dance.
• Wang Teng gathered forging and alchemy inheritances, then advanced his Nine Aperture Tribulation Crossing Pill to Saint-level Second Tribulation and defeated Dan Liu in the alchemy competition.
• Dan Liu shattered his black crystal and opened a Space Rift, allowing a Demon God and the Darkness Breeds to emerge and attack the Sub-Profession Alliance Headquarters.
• Wang Teng fought Dan Liu and the Darkness Breeds as Luo Fu Te and the human Immortals battled the Demon Venerables, while Nether Dry disrupted the attempt to repair the Great Five Elements Divine Sword Array.
• Wang Teng drew the Mine Star through its Space Entrance, built a Five Elements Saint-level Array, and used it to defeat Nether Dry and help repair the Great Five Elements Divine Sword Array.
• Wang Teng completed the array and used its five-colored sword light to destroy the Demon God’s attack and then the Demon God itself.
• Wang Teng, Venerable Tian Yan, Luo Fu Te, and the human forces pursued and killed the fleeing Darkness Breeds, but the spreading darkness began covering the headquarters as the sky and earth cracked apart.
