Wang Teng faced the Yao Family’s accusations as a Darkness Breed invasion struck Yang City, then helped turn the battle by completing the city’s defense formation. After the invaders withdrew and the city mourned its losses, Tantai Xuan warned that Earth Star might face an invasion within two to three years.

• Wang Teng defeated Wan Feipeng and Qu Bai'an, then collected a fee from them before preparing to leave Yang City and attending Yang King’s banquet.
• Yao Hongshou accused Wang Teng of killing his sons, but Li Rongxue admitted to killing Yao Yu, and Wang Teng fought back when Yao Hongshou attacked him.

After Zhao Yuanwu badly injured Wan Baiqiu, Wang Teng warned him they would meet in the arena, while Wang Teng’s own victories continued in Xia Capital.

• Tantai Xuan explained Earth Star’s defenses would weaken within a few years, and Wang Teng agreed to enter the National First Martial Arts Competition as part of his Invincible Road.
• Wang Teng learned Golin had recovered and Lin Zhan was alive, then received Demon Citadel and an Honorary Baron title before returning to Earth Star.

Wang Teng defeats the tournament’s strongest contenders and wins the championship for Yellow Sea Military Academy, revealing increasingly powerful techniques along the way. After returning to East Sea and reuniting with Lin Chuhan, he goes home for the New Year and promises to protect his family.

• Wang Teng celebrated the New Year with his family, then fought off Black Bandits attacking East Sea and helped expose signs that a Darkness Breed had infected one of them.
• Wang Teng intervened when Wang Dong’s family pressured Lin Chuhan to marry Wang Zijin, and Lin’s Mother ordered them never to bother the family again.
