A phantom baron of the Great Qian Empire invited Wang Teng and the extraterrestrial geniuses to compete for his legacy, then incapacitated the Darkness Breed Demon Lords and began a Spirit Maze trial. Wang Teng and the others entered the maze, while the phantom dissipated.

• The phantom explained that he sought an heir and revealed that he had used Star Essence as bait to attract candidates.
