The Killing Curse?

Andy frowned.

Hermione's words had been somewhat vague, but Andy knew exactly what she meant.

Dumbledore had once said that love was the purest form of Mind Power.

What did pure mean?

It meant without the slightest impurity.

Like Lily's love for Harry.

That was the purest maternal love! For Harry, Lily had willingly given up her life, thereby rebounding Voldemort's Killing Curse.

That was the Power of Love! But theory was ultimately just theory.

Snape loved Lily as well, but could Snape's love rebound the Killing Curse? Probably not! Conversely, casting the Killing Curse required the caster's heart to be filled with intense killing intent. The stronger the killing intent, the more powerful the spell.

"Why did you suddenly think of that?" Andy asked.

Hermione raised an eyebrow. "Recent events have left me feeling rather reflective... Human emotions really are fascinating."
