"Kagetsu!" A familiar voice reached Kagetsu's ears.
Following the voice and identifying its direction, Kagetsu quickly spotted Shisui waving at him from within the crowd. A child who looked four or five years old was holding his hand.
A black-and-blue cat suddenly appeared from nowhere and perched on Kagetsu's shoulder, glaring menacingly at the approaching Shisui.
At the sight of the cat, both Uchiha Shisui and the child holding his hand brightened.
As a clan bound by contract to the Ninja Cat Clan, the Uchiha Clan's fondness for and regard for cats was beyond question.
Even knowing that the cat before them was truly a terrifying Tailed Beast, they could not help wanting to reach out and pet it when they saw its harmless, adorable appearance.
But clearly, the cat made no effort to hide its hostility toward Shisui and the child. Its eyes were fixed on Shisui's hand, its lips parting slightly as it waited for him to reach over so it could bite him!
"All right, he means you no harm." Kagetsu raised a hand to pat the cat on his shoulder, only for it to swat his hand away with a paw.
"Evil Uchiha brat!" The cat squeezed the words out from its throat in a somewhat gentle voice. It had not forgotten how many times it had been controlled by his Sharingan shortly after gaining its freedom.
After being imprisoned for so long, it had only wanted to come out and have some fun!
Was there really any need to use Mangekyo on it?!
It was a very polite, easygoing Tailed Beast! So long as no one provoked it.
It had more or less accepted its current life. It could come out whenever it wanted, and Kagetsu fed it delicious food every day.
