• Huo Yuhao, Wang Dong, and Xiao Xiao won the freshman assessment, defeating Dai Huabin’s team in the final after Huo Yuhao used Mind Control to make Zhu Lu leave the stage.
• Huo Yuhao accepted Soul Tool courses while choosing to focus on Soul Power, and he received an Evil Eye Soul Bone that granted Spiritual Illusion.
• Huo Yuhao lured Dai Huabin’s Dark Guards into a deserted park, where Ma Xiaotao killed four and Yan Shaozhe captured one before Huo Yuhao killed the captive.

The story left Shrek facing the Soul Fighting Competition as Xu Jiawei moved against the Southwest Nobles and summoned Dai Hao for a private meeting.

The students returned to Shrek with rewards and new opportunities, as Huo Yuhao began trying to summon his mother’s soul.
