"Sir, you want to dismantle this Cadillac?"
Old Jack was dumbfounded, thinking he had misheard.
If he was not mistaken, this was a discontinued Cadillac-V16, a treasure among treasures.
Could this customer be insane?
"Yes, dismantle it!"
Rorschach spoke to Old Jack in a tone that brooked no argument. "After that, put it back together. Old Jack, you're the most skilled craftsman around. That won't be a problem for you, right?"
"Of course it won't be a problem, but sir, why do you want to dismantle it? Is there something wrong with the car? Let Old Jack inspect it first! There's no need to take it apart."
"That's none of your concern. I told you to dismantle it, so just do it. I won't short you a single cent."
"This isn't about money."
Old Jack hesitated. He was even beginning to wonder whether Rorschach's Cadillac had been stolen.
Was Rorschach trying to break it down into parts here and secretly move them elsewhere?
That would be a huge problem.
"Ryan..." Old Jack turned to look at his boss.
Ryan was clearly hesitant as well. Rorschach's request was simply too strange.
After thinking it over, Ryan decided he did not want any part of this mess.
"Sorry, sir. How about you try another auto repair shop?" Ryan said to Rorschach.
"So you're saying you made me come here for nothing?" Rorschach deliberately scowled.
"No, no, no, sir, that's absolutely not what I mean." Ryan hurriedly waved his hands and tried to explain to Rorschach. "I just..."
But Rorschach could not be bothered wasting any more words on Ryan. He turned around, wrapped both arms around the Cadillac, and forcibly lifted it up.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Like a road roller crushing forward, he walked step by step toward the repair shop and "dropped" the Cadillac right in front of Ryan and Old Jack.
"Oh, God!"
"What am I seeing?"
Ryan, Old Jack, and the other workers in the repair shop stared at the unbelievable scene before them as if they had seen a ghost, trembling all over.
They nearly wet themselves.
He had casually lifted an entire car. Was he even human?
"I'm in a hurry. Get to work," Rorschach said, clapping his hands.
"S-sir, please wait. I-I'll start right away..." Old Jack was nearly scared out of his wits. How could he dare say another word?
He immediately grabbed his tools and prepared to begin.
But at that very moment.
Clack, clack, clack!
Clack, clack, clack!
The Cadillac, which had been lying peacefully on the ground, suddenly began to move!
Every part of the vehicle began frantically separating and recombining.
Amid dense, ear-piercing screeches of metal grinding against metal, component after component flipped and assembled.
In the blink of an eye, the Cadillac had vanished, replaced by a gigantic robot roughly five or six meters tall.
"Little bug, why are you so determined to get yourself killed?"
The robot looked down at Rorschach and barked in an extremely annoyed tone.
"Damn, a Transformer?"
Rorschach was stunned. He had to admit, this had caught him completely off guard.
He had never imagined that he would encounter a Transformer in this world, in this era!
So the Special Energy Source was not something hidden inside the car. The Special Energy Source was the car itself!
No wonder.
He had inspected it so many times and found nothing.
"Little bug, do you have a death wish? I'll pound you into paste!"
The Transformer's furious voice rang out.
Even though the thing lacked the rich facial expressions of a human, Rorschach could still clearly feel its rage.
"Monster!"
"Aliens are here!"
"Jesus Christ!"
A chorus of shocked cries suddenly erupted.
Old Jack, Ryan, and the others nearly had their eyes pop out of their heads as they stared at the enormous creature before them in disbelief, crying out again and again.
"What an annoying bunch of bugs. You're so noisy!"
The Transformer spoke impatiently, swinging its enormous arm at Old Jack and the others.
As casually as swatting irritating flies.
This Transformer was certainly short-tempered.
Judging by that temperament, Rorschach guessed it was most likely a Decepticon. Autobots were not like this.
Gasp!
Old Jack and the others all sucked in sharp breaths. Their faces turned deathly pale, and their bodies froze completely. They had even forgotten to run.
It was the natural state people entered when faced with overwhelming terror.
Commonly known as being scared stupid.
Whoosh!
But at that moment, Old Jack and the others saw a blur before their eyes. Rorschach flashed forward like a ghost and instantly stepped in front of Old Jack.
He reached out and blocked the Decepticon's fist.
Clang!
A dull metallic impact rang out. The Decepticon's fist stopped right in front of Rorschach.
As though someone had hit the pause button, it could not advance even an inch, no matter how hard it tried.
The air at the scene seemed to freeze.
Old Jack, Ryan, and the others began trembling all over. No matter what, they could not believe what they were seeing.
This young man had actually blocked that giant robot's attack?
One was five or six meters tall, while the other was barely one or two meters. One person's fist was larger than the other's head, creating an incredibly stark and enormous visual contrast.
Yet that young man had stopped the giant robot!
No one would have believed it if they had not seen it with their own eyes.
"Why are you still standing there? Waiting for New Year's?" Rorschach said.
Only then did Old Jack and the others snap out of it. They immediately turned and fled to the side.
"That's impossible!"
The Decepticon's shocked voice rang out as well, filled with disbelief. "Humans cannot possess such powerful strength!"
"Isn't it a little too early to be surprised?"
Rorschach let out a cold laugh, stomped hard against the ground with both feet, and shot toward the Decepticon's head like a cannonball.
His fist slammed directly into the Decepticon's face.
Boom!
The instant the punch landed, the Decepticon seemed to have been struck by a meteor from outer space. Its massive body was immediately knocked over.
It crashed hard onto the ground.
The impact shook the entire earth as though an earthquake had struck.
"Gulp!"
Old Jack and the others, who were hurriedly retreating to safety nearby, saw this and swallowed hard one after another, completely dumbfounded.
