• Yao Wan and Xiao Yan helped Zi Yan defeat the Three Great Dragon Islands’ forces, while the Northern Dragon King devoured the Western and Southern Dragon Kings and fled after Zi Yan wounded him.
• Yao Wan helped negotiate a merger between the Dragon Islands, and she and Xiao Yan discovered the Northern Dragon Island had vanished before deciding to pursue the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame.
• Xiao Yan and Yao Wan traveled to the Yan Clan, where Fire Spirit Fairy gave Xiao Yan two Heavenly Flames and admitted him to the Burning Flame Secret Realm.

• Xiao Yan and Yao Wan killed two Hun Clan Dou Sheng, rescued Elder Lei Long and Lei Xiao, and learned that the Hall of Souls had been preparing something near a Void Lightning Pool.

Yao Wan and her allies battled the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame and uncovered a Hun Clan spy in the Gu Clan before joining forces against the rising threats. While investigating the Spirit Devouring Clan, Yao Wan and Medusa awakened the Northern Dragon King and fled as he pursued them.

• Feng Qing'er returned to Yao Wan with her true Sky Phoenix bloodline restored, and Yao Wan warned Xun'er that the Hun Clan might have planted a spy in the Gu Clan.
• Yao Wan and Xiao Yan entered the Demon Fire Space, where the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame trapped them and tried to devour Yao Wan, mistaking her for the Life Spirit Flame.
• Xiao Yan fought Hun Feng, Li Sheng Zhe, and the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame, then destroyed Li Sheng Zhe with an Eight-Colored Fire Lotus as the Demon Fire Space began to collapse.
• The Purifying Demonic Lotus Saint opened a Space Tunnel for the group to escape, and Yao Wan went to Gu Yuan with Xun'er's warning about the Hun Clan spy.

Xiao Yan and Yao Wan prepared for the Yao Clan’s Medicine Ceremony, where the Soul Clan and the Void Swallowing Flame attacked. The Medicine Emperor possessed Yao Wan to drive off the enemy, and Yao Wan ended the arc as the Yao Clan’s new leader.

• Xiao Yan rescued Yao Wan from the Three-Headed Worm Dragon, then drove off the Northern Dragon King and a Spirit Devouring Clan expert before bringing the wounded Yao Wan and Medusa back to Starfall Pavilion.
• Yao Wan created the Void Profound Spell at the Azure Firmament Divine Tree with Xiao Yan’s help, while Xiao Yan later took Zi Yan to the Void Lightning Pool to cultivate and claim the Nine Profound Golden Lightning.
• Yao Chen returned to the Yao Clan for the Medicine Ceremony, where Yao Dan honored his parents on the clan tablet and Xiao Yan proved his skill by refining a Ninth Grade Profound Pill.
• Hun Xuzi demanded the Tou She Ancient God Jade and attacked with the Soul Clan’s Four Demon Saints, but Xiao Yan and Zi Yan fought back until the Void Swallowing Flame arrived and overwhelmed them.
• Yao Wan confronted the Void Swallowing Flame, and the Yao Clan Progenitor’s remnant soul emerged to protect the clan before the Medicine Emperor took control of Yao Wan’s body.
• The Medicine Emperor used Yao Wan’s body and borrowed powers from Xiao Yan and Zi Yan to weaken the Void Swallowing Flame by seizing part of his origin.
• The Medicine Emperor drove the Void Swallowing Flame from the Yao Realm, then withdrew into a golden rift as Yao Wan took control again.
• Yao Dan named Yao Wan the next Clan Leader, and the Yao Clan members knelt to honor her.
