Ch. 1The Beginning

Su Hao learned that his consciousness traveled within Marble Space and used young children’s brains as vessels, but his first life ended when bandits killed him and his family. After awakening in another world, he resolved to live boldly, only to die from a plague at age three.

  • Su Hao discovered that his consciousness remained inside Marble Space while he borrowed a child’s brain to think.
  • Bandits attacked Su Hao’s village, and his mother hid him and his infant sister beneath firewood before confronting the intruders.
  • Su Hao’s mother cut her own throat to protect her children, but the bandits found Su Hao and his sister and killed them.
  • Marble Space carried Su Hao’s consciousness to another world, where he awakened in the body of a two-year-old boy.
  • Su Hao vowed to cherish his new life, but he became infected during a plague and died at age three.

Ch. 2Year 3, Died

After dying young in many different worlds, Su Hao concluded that he needed his parents’ protection to survive early childhood. He awoke in a modern world as Luo Zhaohui, a frail boy whose parents cared for him, but overheard Luo Shengrong suggest having another child.

  • Su Hao realized that each awakening followed an extraordinarily long interval and resolved to cherish every life.
  • As a boy in a Wuxia World, Su Hao watched martial artists and dreamed of learning their skills, but an injured female martial artist killed his family when he was five.
  • Su Hao died young in several worlds, including when his half-brother’s mother drowned him, a mortar shell killed him in wartime, and disasters and massacres claimed other lives.
  • After reviewing his repeated deaths, Su Hao decided to seek his parents’ attention and rely on their protection while staying cautious.
  • Su Hao awoke as Luo Zhaohui, a sickly only son in a modern family, and overheard Luo Shengrong ask Huang Shujun whether they should have another child.

Ch. 3Kindergarten Big Brother

After recovering from a period of poor health, Su Hao grew into a remarkably clever and clingy child, and Huang Shujun enrolled him in kindergarten. While Su Hao studied Marble Space there, a knife-wielding man broke into the room and trapped him.

  • Huang Shujun took Su Hao to the hospital, where the doctor confirmed his health had recovered, and she tearfully apologized for bringing her work stress home.
  • Over the next three years, Su Hao regained his strength and showed exceptional intelligence, while Huang Shujun worried about his clinginess and how to educate him.
  • Huang Shujun asked Su Hao whether he wanted to attend kindergarten, and he agreed to enroll.
  • On his first day, Su Hao beat the troublesome children and earned the title of Big Brother, then used his free time to study Marble Space.
  • Su Hao heard a commotion, saw a man around fifty enter with a weapon, and prepared plastic boards to protect himself as the man noticed him.

Ch. 4Escaping Danger

Su Hao outwitted an armed assailant at kindergarten and escaped before arriving adults subdued the man. After Huang Shujun reunited with him, a video of his actions went viral and made him famous as a genius.

  • Su Hao dodged the assailant's machete strikes, used plastic boards to block blows, and threw sand into the man's eyes before striking his groin and escaping.
  • Several adults rushed into the classroom, protected the children, and subdued the assailant as police and ambulances arrived.
  • Police took the assailant away, injured children and a security guard went to the hospital, and Huang Shujun arrived and hugged Su Hao in relief.
  • A video of Su Hao escaping the assailant spread online, and viewers praised him as a genius.

Ch. 5The Joy of Learning

Su Hao advanced through school and university at an extraordinary pace while using Marble Space to plan a system for organizing its information. After graduating and entering graduate school, he asked his parents to help him study software programming and to give him a younger sibling.

  • Luo Shengrong, Huang Shujun, and Su Hao agreed that Su Hao would skip grades and attend school while studying independently.
  • Su Hao realized Marble Space’s recorded information was difficult to search and devised a plan to organize it by time and build an automated information-processing system.
  • At seven, Su Hao completed high school science, passed the college entrance examination, and entered a famous university; four years later, he finished coursework across several majors.
  • Su Hao earned money by copying books and songs, and his adapted Journey to the West became Hua Country’s bestselling book.
  • At Su Hao’s graduation party, his parents celebrated his admission to graduate school and offered to grant him wishes.
  • Su Hao asked to learn low-level source code development and system software programming, then asked his parents for a younger brother or sister.

Ch. 6Light of the Universe 1.0

Su Hao developed Marble Space into the increasingly capable Light of the Universe while growing into a celebrated prodigy and dealing with his mischievous younger brother, Luo Chaoxin. After reviewing the system’s latest logs, Su Hao went to give Luo Chaoxin another beating.

  • Su Hao’s parents agreed to have another child, and a year later Luo Chaoxin was born.
  • Su Hao built Light of the Universe, adding organized knowledge, search, automatic recording, and connected information as he upgraded it from version 1.0 to 1.3.
  • Su Hao published adapted versions of classic novels and became famous as Hua Country’s contemporary super genius.
  • Luo Chaoxin rode into Su Hao’s room with toys, and Su Hao dragged him out and threw his belongings after him.
  • Su Hao explored big data and artificial intelligence, then reviewed Light of the Universe’s logs, which recorded Luo Chaoxin’s antics.
  • Su Hao picked up a broom and went to give Luo Chaoxin another beating.

Ch. 7Nine Months

Su Hao reflected on his comfortable life and his ambition to advance human civilization, then collapsed while studying. After waking in the hospital, he learned he had pancreatic cancer and an estimated nine months to live.

  • Su Hao decided to study quantum mechanics so he could improve Little Light and eventually contribute more to human civilization.
  • A year later, Su Hao had earned a doctorate, become known in academic circles, and achieved worldwide success with his adapted book and piano piece.
  • Su Hao suddenly suffered abdominal pain and fainted at his desk, and Luo Chaoxin discovered him unresponsive and raised the alarm.
  • Su Hao woke in the hospital with Luo Shengrong, Huang Shujun, and Luo Chaoxin beside him, then checked Little Light's logs.
  • Su Hao saw that the hospital had diagnosed him with pancreatic cancer and estimated he had nine months to live.

Ch. 8Life

After discovering that his pancreatic cancer was terminal, Su Hao resolved to study life and medicine in hopes of understanding his illness. He persuaded his parents to let him use a computer and read medical books, while Luo Chaoxin was assigned a long list of extracurricular classes.

  • Su Hao secretly searched online for pancreatic cancer and realized he might have less than nine months to live.
  • Su Hao added a "Life" section to Marble Space and became determined to uncover the truths of life and illness.
  • Su Hao asked Huang Shujun for a computer to read medical books, but she refused because she feared he would overwork himself again.
  • Su Hao revealed that he already knew about his cancer, then persuaded Huang Shujun and Luo Shengrong to let him study his illness.
  • Huang Shujun agreed to provide Su Hao with a computer and medical books, limiting his computer use to four hours a day.
  • Huang Shujun told Luo Chaoxin he would have to attend numerous extracurricular classes to build his strength.

Ch. 9One and a Half Million Years

After dying of cancer at sixteen, Su Hao awoke in the body of a two-year-old boy more than 1.5 million years later. He checked Marble Space’s records and realized the information from his former life was the only thing that endured, while his new life began aboard a journey through the unknown universe.

  • As his illness worsened, Su Hao studied life and Mind Power, recorded his research, and thanked his parents before dying.
  • Su Hao regained consciousness as a young boy riding on a sturdy man's shoulders, free of the cancer and pain that had afflicted him.
  • He entered Marble Space and discovered that 1,532,648 years had passed since his previous life.
  • Su Hao reviewed the system logs, which recorded his consciousness traveling through unknown space and eventually landing in the boy.
  • He concluded that knowledge preserved in Marble Space was what mattered most and noted that the system needed a universal spatial coordinate system.

Ch. 10Learning Martial Arts

After reincarnating as Wu Xiangwu, Su Hao adapted to life at Tea Mountain Outpost and learned about the dangerous Yonghe Continent. He persuaded his father, Wu Yuntian, to let him begin martial arts training early, and Wu Yuntian agreed to start in half a year.

  • Wu Yuntian carried Su Hao into Tea Mountain Outpost, where the guards recognized him as their third brother.
  • Su Hao learned that his mother had died protecting him from a Ferocious Beast and that Wu Yuntian remained conflicted and distant toward him.
  • By age three, Su Hao had learned the local language and writing and studied the Yonghe Continent and its Martial Artist ranks.
  • Su Hao asked Wu Yuntian to teach him martial arts, arguing that he should not have to wait until the customary age of six.
  • Wu Yuntian agreed to teach Su Hao in half a year, and Su Hao planned to use the time to study the human body in Marble Space.

Ch. 11Little Brat

After half a year of waiting, Su Hao began his first martial arts lesson by meeting Wu Yuntian at the threshing ground, where He Qingqing and her two companions tried to recruit him to play. He tricked the children into leaving with a riddle, only for Wu Yuntian to ask the same question and leave him exasperated.

  • Su Hao reminded Wu Yuntian of his promise to teach him martial arts, and Wu Yuntian told him to meet at the threshing ground the next morning.
  • At the threshing ground, Su Hao met He Qingqing, Lu Hongtao, and Li Cunzhi, who invited him to go fishing.
  • Su Hao challenged the children to prove they were not idiots by answering riddles, and He Qingqing eventually left to think about one.
  • Wu Yuntian appeared beside Su Hao and asked what kind of person could not see a physician when sick, frustrating Su Hao.

Ch. 12Blood Qi (Thanks to Big Fish ZT for the tip)

Wu Yuntian taught Su Hao the basic principles of Blood Qi and how martial arts training converts food energy into strength. He gave Su Hao the Nine Palaces Blood-Intercepting Manual to memorize, while hinting that Su Hao might one day break the shackles of a Martial Artist's Bloodline.

  • Wu Yuntian began explaining that humans used Blood Qi training methods to gain strength and contend with Ferocious Beasts.
  • Wu Yuntian used Su Hao's attempt to move a heavy stone to explain how Blood Qi determined physical strength.
  • Wu Yuntian explained that training methods redirected surplus energy from food away from fat storage and into Blood Qi.
  • Wu Yuntian warned that failed conversion could make a young trainee grow fat, using Little Fatty as an example.
  • Wu Yuntian gave Su Hao the Nine Palaces Blood-Intercepting Manual and told him to memorize it.

Ch. 13The Method to Become Smarter

Su Hao learned and understood the Blood Qi Canon, then began running to find Blood Qi. When He Qingqing and the other children interrupted him, he claimed running was the secret to becoming smart and got them to run too.

  • Su Hao recited the Blood Qi Canon from memory, and Wu Yuntian explained it sentence by sentence while Su Hao recorded his explanations.
  • The next day, Su Hao showed Wu Yuntian that he understood the canon, and Wu Yuntian instructed him to run until exhausted, eat, then meditate and sense food turning into energy.
  • Su Hao ran around the threshing floor as He Qingqing repeatedly asked him to join her and the other children in catching field mice.
  • Su Hao answered He Qingqing's riddle by saying a blind person was sick but could not see a physician, leaving her stumped.
  • He Qingqing grabbed Su Hao and demanded that he play with them, so Su Hao told her and the other children that running had made him smart and urged them to start running.

Ch. 14Method

Su Hao trained for a month to sense blood qi but still could not find it, and Wu Yuntian explained that the threshold to becoming a Martial Artist had to be crossed alone. After his father left, Su Hao came up with a new idea for finding blood qi.

  • He Qingqing told He Jianyong that his answer to a riddle was wrong, and he laughed when she revealed the answer was “the blind.”
  • Su Hao drank Wu Yuntian’s vegetable-and-egg soup, tried to meditate, and fell asleep from exhaustion.
  • Su Hao began running with He Qingqing and her two followers, encouraging them with a simple riddle.
  • After a month of training, Su Hao had grown stronger and better at quieting his thoughts, but he still could not sense blood qi.
  • Wu Yuntian told Su Hao that everyone had to find their own blood qi and advised him to keep practicing patiently.
  • After Wu Yuntian left, Su Hao suddenly declared that he had a way to find blood qi.

Ch. 15ATP

Su Hao used ATP data and records in Marble Space to build a precise mental model of his Blood Qi. He told Wu Yuntian he had found Blood Qi, leaving his father stunned by how thoroughly he had mapped it.

  • Su Hao reasoned that Blood Qi could be understood through a mental model based on bodily energy and ATP.
  • Su Hao used Little Light to review a month of physical data and observed how ATP was consumed during running and restored after eating.
  • Su Hao practiced sensing his body and comparing his perceptions with Marble Space until he could accurately model his Blood Qi without assistance.
  • Su Hao confirmed his model, then told Wu Yuntian that he had found Blood Qi.
  • Wu Yuntian doubted Su Hao at first, then was astonished by the detail of Su Hao's explanation.

Ch. 16Mind Studies

Su Hao persuaded Wu Yuntian to begin teaching him Blood Qi refinement early because he feared being unable to protect himself. He successfully refined Blood Qi on his first attempt and began analyzing how to make the process faster.

  • Su Hao told Wu Yuntian he feared being left defenseless while his father patrolled, and Wu Yuntian agreed to teach him the next day.
  • Wu Yuntian explained Mind Power and carefully guided Su Hao through the Nine Palaces Blood-Intercepting Manual’s visualization method.
  • Su Hao entered meditation and successfully refined Blood Qi on his first attempt, astonishing Wu Yuntian.
  • Wu Yuntian gave Su Hao vegetable-and-egg soup and explained that daily practice would take months to produce an obvious increase in strength.
  • Su Hao reviewed his bodily data in Marble Space and considered how to speed up Blood Qi refinement.

Ch. 17Blood Qi Strengthening Wave

Su Hao discovered how to control the Blood Qi Strengthening Wave and greatly accelerated his Blood Qi conversion. He taught the method to Wu Yuntian, then challenged He Qingqing, Snot Tao, and Little Fatty at the threshing ground.

  • Su Hao used Little Light to study the signal that affected Blood Qi conversion and learned to control the Blood Qi Strengthening Wave.
  • Su Hao demonstrated his increased strength and explained his discovery to Wu Yuntian, who warned him not to exceed his body's limits.
  • Wu Yuntian tried to sense the Blood Qi Strengthening Wave but could not find it, and Su Hao encouraged him to keep practicing.
  • Su Hao went to the threshing ground and taunted He Qingqing, Snot Tao, and Little Fatty, who called on the others to beat him up.

Ch. 18Attack!

Su Hao defeated He Qingqing, Snot Tao, and Little Fatty when they tried to make him join their group, then spent the next year turning back their repeated challenges. When a pack of more than a hundred Green-Eyed Coyotes attacked Tea Mountain Outpost, the villagers mobilized, but Wu Yuntian could not find Su Hao.

  • Su Hao dodged Snot Tao and Little Fatty, tripped Little Fatty, and punched Snot Tao in the nose.
  • Su Hao shoved He Qingqing to the ground and warned the three children to stop bothering him; He Qingqing ran off crying with her followers.
  • More than a year later, five-year-old Su Hao had beaten back every challenge from He Qingqing, Snot Tao, and Little Fatty.
  • Old Li spotted a pack of at least a hundred Green-Eyed Coyotes approaching Tea Mountain Outpost and sent Lu Gao to raise the alarm and warn the villagers.
  • He Jianyong and Wu Yuntian hurried to defend the village, but Wu Yuntian could not find Su Hao.

Ch. 19Attack

Su Hao went after He Qingqing and her friends when three warning bells signaled a dangerous attack on Tea Mountain Outpost. As the warriors fought off a pack of Coyotes, the children headed home, but a wolf suddenly pounced at Su Hao.

  • Su Hao heard three bells and left home with a short blade to find He Qingqing, Little Fatty, and Snot Tao.
  • He Qingqing insisted that the three keep searching for Su Hao despite the danger, trusting that her father and the other warriors would protect the village.
  • Old Li fought a pack of Coyotes until He Jianyong arrived, and together they killed the attackers before returning to help defend the wall.
  • He Jianyong and the warriors repelled the large pack, then learned that several Coyotes had slipped inside the village; Wu Yuntian hurried to find Xiangwu.
  • Su Hao caught up with He Qingqing and persuaded the children to go home by agreeing to play with them.
  • He Qingqing pointed behind Su Hao and shouted a warning as a wolf lunged at him.

Ch. 20Kill

Su Hao killed a Green-Eyed Coyote that attacked him and the other children, then nearly fell to a second ambush before Wu Yuntian rescued him. The warriors returned to find the children safe and Lu Gao's claim that he had cleared out the intruding coyotes contradicted by the three corpses.

  • Su Hao punched a Green-Eyed Coyote out of the air, then killed it with his short blade as He Qingqing, Snot Tao, and Little Fatty watched.
  • Su Hao scolded the three children and offered to take them home, but two more coyotes ambushed him from behind.
  • Su Hao cut the throat of one coyote, but Wu Yuntian split the second with a Horizontal Slash before it could kill Su Hao.
  • Wu Yuntian and the returning warriors found the children unharmed, while Lu Gao claimed he had cleared out two coyotes and then saw three coyote corpses.
