Such rapid advancement had been one of Su Hao's pursuits in his previous life.

He had devoted himself to researching methods of converting Source into matter for no other reason than to conveniently and quickly obtain energy substances such as Blood Qi and spirit power, while freeing himself from the body's dependence on specific Nutrient Substances, allowing him to survive even in the harshest environments.

By now, he had become increasingly certain that the path he had chosen was correct: knowledge was everything! The knowledge Su Hao understood did not simply refer to formulas written in books and records of various methods, but to the outward manifestations of things and their underlying principles.

Only when manifestations and principles were combined, thoroughly understood, and put to use would Su Hao acknowledge that as knowledge he had learned.

This differed from the "manifestation-law" understanding held by many people. In Su Hao's eyes, many laws could not be called knowledge at all; they were merely tools for him to study principles through manifestations.

Simply put: if others needed hundreds or a thousand years to cultivate into an Immortal, then so long as he understood the underlying principles, he could easily accomplish it in a few days.

And a few days was not the limit. This was related to the other knowledge he possessed. The more knowledge he grasped across different fields, the deeper his understanding of this world became, and the less time "cultivation" would require.
