Background / History

The Marble Space carried Su Hao's consciousness after his death on Earth. During its passage through the universe, it was affected by force fields and gravity before Su Hao's consciousness entered the body of a two-year-old boy. Its ability to place him in children is attributed to a young child's still-weak sense of self; an adult consciousness would reject the intrusion. 1

After Su Hao died again, the Marble Space continued traveling and eventually delivered him to another child. Its logs recorded a new star map after 1.5 million years of travel, though early versions of Light of the Universe could not record enough information during its transit to establish a reliable cosmic coordinate system. 9

Su Hao gradually transformed the space from an unstructured repository into a searchable, simulated information environment. He built Little Light to classify accumulated records and later used the Marble Space for genetic research, rune simulation, body-data monitoring, and consciousness experiments. 6 100 208

The discovery that other living beings' consciousness information could be recorded changed Su Hao's view of the Marble Space. Rather than proof that he was uniquely chosen, it meant that other consciousnesses might enter, compete with, or even overwhelm him. He responded by creating permission controls and the Dark Room. 209

After millions of years of failed attempts to locate or physically perceive the Marble Space, Su Hao treated it as a vast “brain” lacking senses or a body. The resulting Giant Project created the Marble Eye, established Semi-condensed Soul Power as an external fulcrum, and ultimately constructed the Marble Giant. 996 997 1000 1001

Appearance

The Marble Space has no confirmed fixed appearance in the Material World. Its interior environments are projections shaped by Su Hao's perception and organizational systems rather than verified physical locations. 206
