After installing External Brains, the brain structures of Su Hao and Ashan had become somewhat different from those of ordinary people.

Their brain structures were divided into three parts.

The innermost layer was their original brain, where the primary core of their current thought resided; the middle layer was the Knowledge Platform, constructed from spiritual energy and possessing a special embedded structure. Besides storing vast amounts of information like a computer hard drive and amplifying Spirit Sense, the Knowledge Platform now also served as the channel linking the brain and the External Brain; the outermost layer was the External Brain. It possessed a special neural structure that, once combined, could grant a person's brain an enormous boost, even breaking through the limits of humanity. This state could no longer be described merely as that of a genius.

In Su Hao's view, those Deities in myth who could divine the past and foretell the future were no more than this.

This seemingly cumbersome brain structure was not a burden at all. On the contrary, it made them unable to stop, wishing their entire bodies were made of Neural Tissue...
