But at that very moment, the Wolf Lizard Beast's body suddenly shifted sideways, evading that thrust and then pouncing towards Chu Kuang.

It turned out the Wolf Lizard Beast was prepared. Its first move was merely a probing feint; this second move was the one hiding a fatal killing intent.

Chu Kuang said calmly, dodging the attack by a hair's breadth at the last second.

Then, spear following man, he executed 'Golden Spear Piercing the Sun,' descending from the heavens. The spear tip deflected the wolf's tail, and with undiminished momentum, it thrust directly at the Wolf Lizard Beast's throat.

Chu Kuang seized the opportunity, spinning around and kicking the Wolf Lizard Beast heavily in the chest. The War Spear was yanked out, trailing a spray of blood.

"Roar—"

This Wolf Lizard Beast was indeed a bio-beast cloned from a Source Energy Fierce Beast. It roared even after sustaining such a severe injury.

It thrashed in its death throes, lunging at Chu Kuang with a terrifying bloody aura, its foul breath washing over him.
