Then Chu Kuang took a step forward. The war lance in his hand tore through the air with Gold-Splitting force and struck Zhang Tianyi's right shoulder.

"Your arm has been attacked and has instantly endured more than 6,387 KG of force. The intelligent brain has determined that your arm has been severed. You have lost fifty percent of your combat capability."

An announcement came from Zhang Tianyi's battle armor, cold sweat breaking out across his forehead. Without the protection of his armor, that strike would have crippled him completely.

At that instant, Xu He had already understood the outcome. Without looking back, he immediately left, decisively choosing to flee the battlefield.

Only later did humanity learn that these giant beasts had actually entered the Dark Domain behind Earth, becoming terrifying Source Energy Fierce Beasts.

When human civilization had first mastered Space Technology and opened the Dark Domain behind Earth for the first time, everyone had been stunned.

Countless ancient Source Energy Fierce Beasts, such as Wolf Lizard Beasts, Tyrannosaurus Rexes, and Titanoboas, emerged and brought immense disaster upon humanity at the time.

Fortunately, human civilization had not been weak then. Using technological means, humanity repelled the Source Energy Fierce Beasts that could emerge. Later, after developing the wondrous applications of source energy, humanity gradually used martial arts to fully take control of the Dark Domain behind Earth.

By now, the genetic maps of fierce beasts such as Wolf Lizard Beasts and Tyrannosaurus Rexes had long been completely mastered by human civilization.

These Bio-Beasts used for student training were basically cloned from the genes of all kinds of ancient Earth beasts.

Chu Kuang neither dodged nor evaded. He circulated the force of the Iron Armor Technique and thrust his war lance forward with a shake.

But in that instant, the Wolf Lizard Beast suddenly shifted sideways. After avoiding the thrust, it turned and pounced at Chu Kuang from the side.

The Wolf Lizard Beast had been prepared all along. Its first move had merely been a probing feint; this second move was the truly lethal strike it had concealed.

"What a cunning beast."

Chu Kuang spoke calmly and twisted aside at the critical moment, narrowly avoiding the attack.

"Clang—!"

The sound of metal striking stone exploded. The Wolf Lizard Beast's claws scraped along the edge of Chu Kuang's alloy battle armor, and the fierce wind carved strings of sparks across it.

Chu Kuang's figure swayed slightly as he used the opportunity to pull several yards away. But after missing its strike, the Wolf Lizard Beast pressed its advantage relentlessly. Its long tail swept out like a whip, the bone spike at its tip aimed directly at Chu Kuang's brow.

"What speed."

Facing the Wolf Lizard Beast's savage aura, Chu Kuang suddenly planted his war lance into the ground and used the force to leap into the air.

Then man and spear moved as one. Golden Spear Piercing the Sun descended from above, knocking aside the beast's tail before the spearpoint continued straight toward the Wolf Lizard Beast's throat.

The sharpness of this attack was fully exposed. If the Wolf Lizard Beast dared receive it head-on, it would likely be skewered on the spot.

Yet the Wolf Lizard Beast seemed almost sentient. At the crucial moment, it sharply tilted its head, and the spearpoint only sliced a bloody mark along the side of its neck.

Having suffered a hidden loss in a single move, the Wolf Lizard Beast roared in pain. Then it violently kicked off with its hind legs, its entire body lunging down like a boulder falling from above.

At that critical moment, Chu Kuang remained utterly calm.

Blood Battle in All Directions activated in an instant, allowing Chu Kuang to see through the weakness beneath its belly. The several-yard-long war lance suddenly became like a swimming dragon. An invisible force passed through the spear, and its tip stabbed upward at an unbelievable angle.

Chu Kuang spun with the momentum and kicked heavily into the Wolf Lizard Beast's chest. The war lance ripped free in a spray of blood.

As expected of a Bio-Beast cloned from a Source Energy Fierce Beast, the Wolf Lizard Beast was still roaring despite suffering such grave injuries.

In its death throes, it charged toward Chu Kuang with overwhelming murderous aura, a stench-laden wind rushing at his face.

Facing this strike, Chu Kuang retreated as though he had foreseen it. When the Wolf Lizard Beast pounced onto the ground, golden light bloomed from his war lance once more. With a wet squelch, it pierced through the Wolf Lizard Beast's skull.

The sound of its skull shattering was clearly audible. The Wolf Lizard Beast crashed to the ground, its limbs twitching a few times before it finally lost all life.

Its strength was average.

Chu Kuang silently assessed the battle. He had won without much difficulty, and the entire fight had lasted only a few breaths.

By Chu Kuang's estimation, the Wolf Lizard Beast was roughly as strong as Lin Shuyao. It might have been slightly stronger, but only by a limited amount.

As long as two or three people who had mastered the External Martial Arts Compendium joined forces, they would have a good chance of defeating it.

If they had mastered the External Martial Arts Compendium as well as weapon martial arts, no more than two people would be needed to defeat it reliably.

If all the Source Energy Fierce Beasts were only at this level, then this Dark Domain Expedition would not be too difficult.
