By Chu Kuang's estimate, if Class Five came here, even if they could take it down, they would likely lose more than half their number. Only Class Three and Class Two could capture this Source Energy Spring Eye with relatively minor losses.
However, in the earlier classes, most of the Top Students had already separated from their classmates and formed teams to clear these Source Energy Spring Eyes. Relying solely on those Top Students to take this nest would likely be quite difficult.
"If nothing unexpected happens, this Source Energy Spring Eye is one of the largest in this Dark Domain."
"Once it is taken, the Source Energy Treasure Liquid obtained will definitely be far more than a single gourd."
Chu Kuang murmured inwardly, raised his spear, and strolled inside.
The five Sabertooth Tigers had long since noticed Chu Kuang. As he crossed the boundary, the tiger pack immediately spread out in a fan-shaped encirclement.
Chu Kuang keenly observed that each of the four Sabertooth Tigers was over ten feet long, while the leading tiger king was as large as a giant elephant.
"Roar—"
After a brief standoff, the Sabertooth Tiger pack finally made the first move.
With an angry roar, one Sabertooth Tiger lunged out, its claws tearing the air with a shrill whistle.
Chu Kuang's pupils turned cold. The war halberd in his hand traced a half-moon arc, its blade sweeping out fierce currents of air in every direction and sending the giant tiger flying backward, coughing blood, with unmatched force.
But before he could press his advantage, the other three Sabertooth Tigers pounced. The first slid low, its sharp claws sweeping for Chu Kuang's legs with fierce force.
The second lunged at Chu Kuang's right hand gripping the war lance, while the last leaped high from behind and went straight for Chu Kuang's throat.
"Perfect timing."
Chu Kuang's gaze narrowed. He slammed the war lance into the ground and used the force to launch himself more than a hundred feet into the air, causing all three fierce tigers to miss.
As he turned back, he drew the war lance like a war bow bent into a lethal curve, then spiraled downward. The rotating spearhead swept in all directions, sending invisible blades of air slashing toward the three charging Sabertooth Tigers.
With Chu Kuang's Life Level as high as 6.7, if this strike landed solidly, the three Sabertooth Tigers would either die or be severely injured.
But at that critical moment, the tiger king turned into a crimson afterimage and charged in. The power around its body erupted to an unbelievable degree, and it actually knocked Chu Kuang's war lance aside head-on.
"Clang—"
"Berserk?"
Chu Kuang descended from midair as the knocked-away war lance spun back into his hand. A trace of gravity appeared in his eyes.
Berserk was generally a talent only beginner Beast Soldiers could master. This tiger king had only reached Life Level 6.3, yet it had grasped a talent of this level. It truly deserved to be a clone of the naturally gifted Sabertooth Tiger.
A true Sabertooth Tiger seemed to become an advanced Beast Soldier upon reaching adulthood.
The thought flashed through Chu Kuang's mind. He then sharply twisted aside to evade the lunging giant tiger, and the battle intent in his eyes surged ever higher.
At that moment, the tiger king took the lead in fiercely pouncing on Chu Kuang, while the other four Sabertooth Tigers watched him closely and no longer forced frontal attacks.
Clearly, after their probing, the Sabertooth Tigers knew Chu Kuang was not easy to deal with, so they left the tiger king to confront him head-on.
Facing the tiger king's savage assault, Chu Kuang raised his spear to block, only to find that the alloy war lance had been bent into an arc by the blow. He immediately borrowed the force and leaped backward.
"Such strength."
Chu Kuang frowned slightly. Several more roars sounded, and the four Sabertooth Tigers attacked Chu Kuang's limbs from different directions.
The Sabertooth Tiger race was renowned for its strength. After going berserk, this tiger king's power was no less than Chu Kuang's.
Under such circumstances, with four more Sabertooth Tigers holding him back, Chu Kuang found it difficult to end the battle quickly.
"Fine. I'll let you give me enough pressure to take my strength another step forward."
Faced with such pressure, Chu Kuang not only did not retreat, but instead pushed Blood Battle in All Directions to its limit.
With the combat instincts and insight granted by this movement technique, Chu Kuang weaved through the tiger pack in a constant fierce battle. Every intense clash made him feel his movement technique improve further.
Finally, after completely evading the tiger king's attack and escaping through a gap between the four Sabertooth Tigers, Chu Kuang suddenly felt as though the world had changed.
The five Sabertooth Tigers seemed to have slowed greatly in his eyes. Their claws, once swift as lightning, now seemed nothing special.
It was an indescribable combat instinct that gave Chu Kuang an inexplicable confidence.
"Roar—"
At that moment, the Sabertooth Tigers pounced again, overwhelming bloody stench rushing toward him.
Yet Chu Kuang abruptly planted his feet. He flipped his spear and swept it out like a black dragon lashing its tail. The spear tip flashed coldly, cutting through the tiger pack at an unimaginable angle and slicing open one Sabertooth Tiger's throat.
"Pfft—"
When scorching tiger blood splashed across the second tiger's face, it had no time to react before the war lance spun around and skewered it in midair.
At the same time, the third giant tiger roared and bit down on the spear shaft, creating an opportunity for the tiger king to defeat Chu Kuang.
But as the tiger king pounced, Chu Kuang casually swung the war lance, lifted the giant tiger, and hurled it out, smashing it heavily into the oncoming tiger king.
"Boom—"
Was this the combat instinct brought by mastering Blood Battle in All Directions?
Chu Kuang murmured inwardly. Holding the war lance, he shot forward like a golden dragon. After two muffled explosions, two Sabertooth Tigers were struck through the throat at once, blood gushing out as they collapsed and convulsed.
This move, Heavenly Dragon Pounces on the Moon, possessed the wonder of breaking through an army with sheer force. It was precisely the ultimate technique one could master only after reaching mastery in Thousand Jun Formation Breaker.
In the blink of an eye, four of the five Sabertooth Tigers had fallen. The last tiger king revealed a trace of shock and fear in its eyes, crouching low to the ground as it bared its fangs and growled. The murderous aura in its eyes was nearly tangible.
"I'll send you on your way."
Chu Kuang spoke calmly, pushing the Iron Armor Technique to its limit. Then he stepped forward fiercely, cracking the ground as the ten-foot war lance shot out like lightning!
The tiger king roared and dodged. The spear tip left only a bloody mark on its shoulder blade.
It twisted around and swept its iron tail, but Chu Kuang easily evaded it. The tiger king then pounced again in fury, its fangs aimed directly at Chu Kuang's head!
But Chu Kuang had already seen through its attack. He drove the war lance into the ground, raised his leg, and kicked it flying sideways. Then he pressed down on the spear shaft, launching himself forward along with the war lance.
"Pfft—"
This strike was as swift as thunder, aimed directly at the tiger king's brow. At the critical moment, it turned sideways to evade, but the war lance blade sheared off one of its sharp fangs.
Chu Kuang pressed his advantage relentlessly, swinging the rotating spear shaft down and smashing the tiger king until blood flowed from its mouth and nose. Cracks spread across the ground beneath it.
Before the tiger king could struggle back to its feet, the war lance blade in Chu Kuang's hand crashed down, its broad edge piercing through the tiger king's heart.
"Squelch!"
After a crisp sound, the spearhead pierced through its body. The tiger king's shriek came to an abrupt stop. Its limbs twitched a few times before it fell completely still.
"Nothing much."
After slaying all five tigers, Chu Kuang put away the war lance, and an involuntary smile curled at the corner of his mouth.
