Chen Ruixuan's mouth fell open in shock. "What? Then isn't the Lingxi Tribe in grave danger? We have to hurry back and tell the elders."
Just as they were preparing to leave the cave, they suddenly heard a burst of noisy footsteps and hushed conversation from outside. Chen Siyu's expression changed, and she whispered, "This is bad. The black-robed man sneered. "They're only two children. There's nothing to fear. The Lingxi Tribe may have some strength, but they cannot cause much trouble. Once the ritual is complete, they will all become our prisoners. Still, we must keep a closer watch on them. We cannot let them discover our plan."
Hidden behind the boulder, Chen Siyu and Chen Ruixuan heard every word clearly.
