• Orochimaru killed Kitsuchi, breaking the Stone Ninja forces, while Genitsu wounded Roshi and forced the Four-Tails Jinchuriki to flee after stealing some of Son Goku’s Chakra.

Genitsu finished helping Hiruko fuse Scorch Release and Swift Release, then sent him back to face Kakuzu. After Hiruko escaped the fight, Kakuzu was dismissed by a bounty station and decided to pursue Void and turn to fraud.

• Genitsu explained his theories about the Pure Land and ordered Hiruko not to fuse any more bloodlines without permission.

Kazue and Kakashi's team confronted Rasa and Bunpuku, but the One-Tail broke free and overwhelmed the Konoha ninja. Kazue awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan and used its power to rewrite fate and suppress Shukaku, leaving the battle unresolved.

• Kazue told Rin that an earlier incident had cost her her right eye and given her another chance at life.
• Kakashi's team reached Rasa and Bunpuku, where Rasa attacked with Gold Dust Burial as Shukaku's Chakra overwhelmed the seal.
• Shukaku completed its transformation, killed Sand Ninja, and battered Kakashi's group with its immense power.
• Kazue kicked Rin and an injured ninja out of danger, was crushed by Shukaku's tail, and awakened her Mangekyō Sharingan.
• Kazue used Izanagi to return unharmed and Izanagi-Mikoto to overwrite Shukaku's attack, trapping one of its arms in place.

Kazue awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan and used Susanoo to shield Kakashi and the others from Shukaku’s Tailed Beast Ball. Genitsu arrived, helped her fight the One-Tail, and they drove Shukaku away as the Third Shinobi World War neared its end.

• Kazue revealed her Mangekyō Sharingan, immobilized Shukaku with Izanagi, and faced his Tailed Beast Ball with Susanoo.
• Kazue’s Susanoo began to fail against the attack until Genitsu’s White Hot Light deflected the Tailed Beast Ball.
• Genitsu returned, suppressed Kazue’s physical imbalance, and joined her in fighting Shukaku.
• Genitsu and Kazue wounded Shukaku, and Genitsu severed and absorbed part of the One-Tail’s chakra while Kazue covered for him.

Shukaku fled after Genitsu and Kazue defeated it, and Konoha celebrated its victory as the two returned to camp. Genitsu warned Kazue about Orochimaru and the dangers of Konoha’s internal conflicts, then met Obito and Zetsu in secret, where they discussed Kazue’s Mangekyō Sharingan and Izanagi.

• Shukaku escaped in its weakened state, returned control to Bunpuku, and Rasa carried the exhausted Jinchuriki away while lamenting Konoha’s strength.
• Konoha’s ninja celebrated the victory and praised Genitsu and Kazue, while Orochimaru greedily asked Kazue to reveal her Mangekyō Sharingan.
