Even counting Black people among East Africa's total population, they made up only around 5 percent. In the United States, Black people accounted for roughly 14 percent of the total population, surpassing East Africa to become the world's largest Black nation.

That was right. Through East Africa's "efforts," the United States had become the country with the largest Black population in the world. Though West Africa was the homeland of Black people, its countries were fragmented and further carved up by European and American colonizers. As a result, the Black population of any single West African country or colony was nowhere near that of East Africa or the United States.

Although East Africa had only a little over seven million Black people left, with productivity generally low in West Africa, it was difficult for any single Black nation to surpass that number. Take Nigeria, which had ranked first in Africa by population in a previous life—Nigeria was now merely a geographical concept, with numerous countries, tribes, and colonies of nations such as Britain scattered across it.

Its total population might have exceeded ten million, but it could not be considered one country. At the very least, it could be divided into three parts: Britain's two Nigerian protectorates, the Kingdom of Southern Germany's occupied portion, and the local indigenous forces.

The Abyssinian Empire did have a population exceeding ten million, but Abyssinia was racially mixed between Black and white people, not a purely Black nation. Especially after East Africa excluded the southern Black regions within the borders of Ethiopia from its previous life, the proportion of Black ancestry in Abyssinia's population was actually even smaller.
