Lin Qi mastered Gang Jin, joined the defense of Black Dragon Base, and killed Gu Cheng in a duel before growing stronger through repeated Disaster Beast Tides. The story left him facing three Level 7 Disaster Beasts as another super-large tide struck.

• Lin Qi cultivated Gang Jin, completed his second Blood Exchange, and traveled with Dean Liu to Beijiang Province, where he received custom armor and a Seventh Order spear.
• During a Disaster Beast Tide, Lin Qi joined Liang Tai’s squad, killed two Level 7 Disaster Beasts, and earned 32,000 Merit Points.
• Lin Qi accepted Gu Cheng’s duel, moved it to that night, and killed him after countering his Minor Divine Power, winning 100,000 Merit Points.
• Lin Qi completed his Third Blood Exchange, then accepted Gu Jian’s challenge for one million Merit Points with a three-month deadline.
• Lin Qi fought through a Super Large Disaster Beast Tide alongside Dean Liu and Pei Yiqing, improving his techniques before the battle ended.
• Lin Qi completed his fourth Blood Exchange, rose into the top 50 of Black Dragon Base’s Seventh Realm Ranking List, and continued hunting Disaster Beasts.
• A new super-large tide hit Black Dragon Base as Lin Qi set out to hone his Third Ultimate Move, but an Iron Armor Rhino, an Iron Claw Giant Bear, and a Steel Bone Giant Tiger surrounded him.

Lin Qi defeated Gu Jian, survived a Zerg assassination during the next beast tide, and advanced his spear technique while taking part in the No. 9 Ruins trials. After earning Starfire Tower rewards and sharing his new techniques with the Martial Arts Hall, he learned that a Zerg army was approaching Blue Star and that they needed help from the Human Race.

• Lin Qi broke through to Mountain and River Force and killed the Earth Cracking Dragon, then defeated Gu Jian in their duel despite Gu Jian having reached the Eighth Realm.
• During a massive beast tide, disguised Zerg warriors ambushed Lin Qi, but Mountain and River King intervened as Lin Qi broke through to the Fifth Order Domain and killed three Level 8 attackers.
• The Ninth Realm fighters defeated the Thunder Hell Tyrant Lion and pushed back the tide, while Lin Qi learned that Meng Wu had died protecting him and that the Zerg had targeted him with an assassination force.
• Mountain and River King explained the importance of the Ruins and took Lin Qi and other geniuses to No. 9 Ruins, where Lin Qi entered the Starfire Tower trials and learned about the Starfire Civilization’s inheritance.
• Lin Qi mastered the Golden Light Scroll of the World Extinction Spear Canon and cleared the fourth-floor trial, earning the complete spear canon, spatial equipment, a Flowing Silver Guardian, Blood Burning, and Divine Sense Thousand Threads.
• Xin Huo told Lin Qi that the Otherworld had been created as a Calamity Beast factory and that the Demon Race and Zerg had destroyed the Starfire Civilization.
• Lin Qi returned from the Ruins ranked first among the geniuses and agreed to share his three Starfire techniques with the Martial Arts Hall in exchange for a share of sales.
• Mountain and River King told Lin Qi that the dying Insect Race Mother Empress had alerted the Zerg to Blue Star’s location and that they needed to seek help from the Human Race in the Universe.

Lin Qi broke through to the Eighth Realm, strengthened his abilities, and led Blue Star’s hopes in the Fire Seed Trial selection. After defeating a string of powerful rivals, he awakened a third ability and advanced toward the final contest with Sun Sheng.

• Lin Qi joined the battles against Calamity Beast Tides, returned home for New Year, and later broke through to the Eighth Realm before setting his sights on opening all 108 apertures.
• Tu Lan arrived to assess Earth Civilization, and the Crimson Emperor chose the Fire Seed Trial as Blue Star’s alternative to low-potential classification.
• Lin Qi trained at Black Dragon Base, opened more apertures, reached a 40% Template Fusion Rate, and evolved his talents into the Golden Gang Overlord Body.
• Lin Qi mastered Flashing Shadow Myriad Gleams during a Calamity Beast Tide, while Jiang Tao joined him at Black Dragon Base and hoped to qualify for the trial.
• Jiang Tao passed the Seventh Realm preliminary rounds but lost in the main competition, while Lin Qi and only two other Blue Star contestants passed directly.
• Lin Qi dominated the Eighth Realm selection, defeating Aoki Doufu, Tana Gong, Yolanda Gardner, and Dongshan Fengxiong to secure a place among the trial contestants.

Lin Qi won the Eighth Realm rankings and helped Blue Star defeat the Blade Stream Civilization in the Fire Seed Trial, earning Earth recognition as a civilization with High-Level Civilization Potential. As Blue Star built alliances and defenses, Lin Qi prepared to enter the Cosmic Virtual World and began his first arena match.

• Lin Qi defeated Li Tianxing and Sun Sheng to win the Eighth Realm selection, then received rewards from the Crimson Emperor and opened more Apertures.
• Lin Qi killed the Howling Moon Sky Wolf during the disaster beast tide, earning Merit Points and replacing his broken equipment with Ninth Level gear.
• Lin Qi trained to improve his techniques and abilities, then defeated Li Tianxing and Sun Sheng again in the final ranking battles before the Fire Seed Trial.
• Earth’s contestants struggled in the Blood Exchange Realm round, but Jiang Tao secured their only win as Blade Stream Civilization took the round.
• Andrei, Augustus, Li Tianxing, Sun Sheng, and Lin Qi won successive Aperture Refinement Realm matches, and Lin Qi defeated Liu Ming in the tiebreaker to give Earth the round.
