Kakashi and Shisui stood facing each other, Kakashi staring directly into Shisui's blood-red Three-Tomoe Sharingan.
"What level of intensity was that just now?" Kakashi asked.
He had broken free of Shisui's genjutsu almost instantly.
"Level one. Looks like your training method really works," Shisui replied.
Based on the amount of Chakra infused into the Bent Spoon, they had divided the training into six levels. Infusing one-fifth of their Chakra was level one, while two-fifths was level two.
Level six was somewhat special. At that level, they extracted and infused Chakra at the same time, pursuing the ultimate genjutsu intensity.
Under normal circumstances, level one was already Shisui's limit in battle, since he could not waste too much Chakra strengthening the Bent Spoon.
Otherwise, having the boost but no Chakra left to use Ninjutsu would be rather awkward.
Before undergoing genjutsu training, Shisui had controlled Kakashi with genjutsu during their internal spar and defeated him in a single move.
After a month and a half of genjutsu training, Kakashi could now instantly break free of Shisui's genjutsu. It had proven to be remarkably effective training.
"Thanks for the trouble, Shisui." Kakashi sincerely thanked him.
Shisui had truly helped him tremendously this time. Kakashi had not expected the training to progress so smoothly, with obvious improvement after just over a month.
Transparent World was currently his most crucial ability. Its improvement meant the upper limit of his strength had risen as well.
"It's nothing. I got to train my genjutsu too," Shisui replied with a faint smile.
Although they would go all out to defeat each other during internal spars, and would therefore try to conceal their own information as much as possible in the month beforehand.
They were ultimately comrades who had fought through life and death together,
