This is where the main story comes to an end.
My original plan was to write until Naruto and the others grew up, but after thinking it over carefully, I felt there would be too little left to write about.
In the end, I decided to wrap things up after defeating the Otsutsuki and write the remaining content as side stories. That would be easier to write and make it easier to do well.
Here, Little Orange would like to speak from the heart.
First of all, thank you to all the readers who kept following along and all those who subscribed.
The early performance of this book was honestly pretty terrible, and there was a time when Little Orange nearly gave up writing.
A book Little Orange wrote during junior year, Nine-Tails Attack, made it onto the Sanjiang Recommendation, yet this book—which Little Orange believed showed improvement and had better content—did not even make it onto Sanjiang.
Little Orange nearly thought that I had forgotten how to write and was simply feeling good about myself.
Fortunately, thanks to everyone's support, this book without a Sanjiang Recommendation kept rising against the odds. At its peak, it was only a few dozen subscriptions away from twenty thousand average subscriptions.
That kind of result was rare among fanfiction, and Little Orange was quite satisfied with it.
However, although the results exceeded expectations, Little Orange still had some regrets about this book.
This was Little Orange's first book to exceed three million words. For a newcomer like Little Orange, that was truly a lot—more than the previous two books combined.
Because I lacked experience with long-running serials, quite a few problems arose during the writing process.
There were three that left a particularly deep impression on Little Orange.
