So Hermione had heard every word of her conversation with Black.
"Whether I'm a big radish or not, didn't you already know?" Black said solemnly.
Cassandra's face flushed crimson as she smacked Black on the shoulder.
"You're still saying it!"
Her cheeks still hurt even now.
"But..." Cassandra said with a wicked grin, "you really are awful..."
"Saying something like that to her just before you left— that silly girl definitely won't be able to sleep tonight!"
Black smiled. "Don't celebrate too soon, because you won't be sleeping tonight either."
Cassandra's smile froze as she looked at Black with some fear.
"Y-you... what are you trying to do again...?"
Black said, "What are you thinking? I mean, tonight, I'm taking you to see some of my little secrets."
"Wasn't that our agreement? Once you did as I asked, I'd turn you gray too..."
P.S. I'm finally home. I'll rest a bit and try to update more tomorrow!
You Can Call Me Dad, and I Wouldn't Mind Answering You a Couple of Times
In this world, people and things could actually be divided into black and white.
Of course, some people were a mix of black and white.
And because of that, such people could not simply be described as either black or white.
They often called themselves gray...
And Black was exactly that kind of person.
"I'll come find you at midnight."
"If you get sleepy, you can drink this bottle of Invigoration Draught."
After giving Cassandra his instructions, Black left.
Cassandra had actually begun to understand what being gray meant.
Someone like Black would never be bound by so-called rules.
Only when he was willing to follow the rules...
would the rules have any use for him.
Like those forbidden plants he secretly cultivated in the Room of Requirement
