"Brew me a potion. Help me digest."
"Don't you have any digestion potions?" Cassandra asked.
"I never needed digestion before," Black said proudly.
But... before was before, and now was now...
Black discovered, to his surprise, that his appetite seemed to be shrinking again.
And what delighted him was that his physical body had not weakened because of it.
It seemed the aftereffects left behind by his last evolution were slowly disappearing!
Black reached into his pocket, then took out a huge pile of potion ingredients from the System Warehouse.
Then he pulled his hand out of his pocket, pretending all those potion ingredients had come from there.
"You just created this potion formula too?" Cassandra asked, looking at the potion formula in surprise.
"No." Black spread his hands. "Your head of house, that old bat, created this. Since there's something ready-made, why would I bother?"
As Black spoke, he continued to slump in the armchair and play dead.
Cassandra curled her lip. Fine, so it wasn't that he couldn't create one, but that since there was a ready-made one, he was too lazy to write it.
The cauldron was soon set up.
Cassandra's own potion-making skills were already quite good.
On top of that, this potion was not particularly hard to brew.
And Black occasionally gave her a reminder from the side.
Soon, a bowl of slightly viscous reddish-brown potion was brought before Black.
Black frowned at the bowl of potion.
"Just by looking at the color of this potion, you should know the formula definitely wasn't written by me."
Cassandra covered her mouth and giggled. "Who told you to be lazy?"
"Come on... Black, time to take your medicine."
"Hm?" Black jolted.
Why did this give him such strong "Dalang, time to take your medicine" vibes?
