Hongjun came to Grand Unity Heaven to propose setting rules jointly before the Immeasurable Kalpa, but Li Fan rejected joint rule and defined the limits of the Heavenly Dao’s authority. Hongjun accepted the arrangement and left after issuing a Heavenly Dao Decree.
Li Fan reviewed the ten harsh laws the Heavenly Dao had developed in the End of Dharma Era and reflected on how the Dao had evolved through successive ages. He assessed the Hunyuan progress of himself and the goddesses, Three Pure Ones, and other ancient powers, leaving the Great Dao’s unequal paths and Pangu’s absence unresolved.
Pangu returned through reincarnation and his supreme Dao rhythm overwhelmed the Primordial World, forcing Saints, clans, and mighty beings to submit. Li Fan and Hongjun recognized that Pangu’s arrival threatened the existing order, while the Chaos Demon Gods prepared to carry out the Life Heavenly Maiden’s plan.
As Pangu reincarnated and reshaped the Primordial World, Li Fan and the other Hunyuan beings secretly siphoned off its origin to strengthen themselves. Pangu eventually warned them, and Li Fan stopped while Houtu kept absorbing; the chapter ended with Hongjun resenting Li Fan for leaving him out and drawing Pangu’s attention.
Hongjun fused his three corpse incarnations and transformed his Heavenly Dao Saint position into the independent Limitless Primordial Saint position. He declared his Dao complete as his new power resounded across the realms, while Chen Sheng watched anxiously from the Human Race altar.
Li Fan recognized that the Primordial World’s Immeasurable Kalpa was rooted in a systemic cycle that could not be escaped by ordinary reform, and resolved to break the deadlock himself. He appointed Yaochi to reorganize the Primordial World’s factions with sweeping authority, beginning a crackdown on those who defied the Heavenly Emperor, especially the Demon Race.
Yaochi led the Hall of Myriad Gods in a sweeping campaign to restore order across the Primordial World, purging the Demon Race and cracking down on corrupt human factions. Li Fan watched the new order take hold, but viewed it only as the first step toward preparing for the approaching Immeasurable Kalpa.
The Life Heavenly Maiden and the Creation Demoness launched a scheme to force Pangu into reincarnation as the Life Heavenly Maiden’s child. Their array began dragging him from Primordial Reincarnation and stripping away his power, leaving Pangu furious and on the verge of being reborn.
Li Fan stopped Creation Demoness and Life Heavenly Maiden from disrupting Pangu's reincarnation, but the Three Pure Ones' meddling led to the birth of Pangu's fourth Pure One, Xuanqing. Li Fan appointed Xuanqing to govern the Xuanyuan Great Dao, leaving the Primordial World with a new Innate Saint.
Xuanqing established ten cultivation sequences that let beings of any race advance by drawing on the Primordial World's source, opening a path to become an Acquired Saint. As the new system stirred the Primordial World and altered the Immeasurable Kalpa, Chaos Demon Gods tried to steal the source directly, triggering a vast calamity and the descent of the Demon God of Truth.
Xuanqing battled the Demon God of Truth, whose attacks threatened the Primordial World’s source, until Li Fan arrived and erased him with overwhelming power. The Primordial beings recognized that Li Fan had surpassed the Hunyuan realm and pledged their loyalty to the Heavenly Emperor.
As Primordial Heaven and Earth faded, seven cultivators attained the Acquired Saint Sequence and took up positions across the Primordial World. Li Fan and the others watched from the Grand Unity Heaven Palace, accepting that the new Saints would now bear the world’s conflicts and calamities.
As the Immeasurable Kalpa consumed the Primordial World, Li Fan summoned the fourth and final Grand Unity Assembly to decide the world's fate and sever the calamity's root. His edict reached all surviving powers, who set aside old grudges and began traveling to Grand Unity Heaven.
As the Return to Ruins and the Great Dao’s extinction tribulation overwhelmed the Prehistoric Universe, the surviving powers gathered for the fourth Grand Unity Assembly to debate whether to resist, preserve reincarnation, or seek another escape. Li Fan ended the deadlocked arguments by declaring that the assembly would determine the Primordial World’s final dignity.
At the end of the Fourth Grand Unity Final Dharma Assembly, Li Fan announced a final law that would preserve the Primordial World's will through a sacrifice to the Great Dao. He revealed that either Pangu or he would have to sacrifice a Great Dao to stop the annihilation, while Wangshu and the goddesses insisted Pangu should bear the cost.
Li Fan and the goddesses planned to use the Primordial Purple Lotus to engrave the Prehistoric Universe and challenge the Dao’s imposed ending rather than sacrifice Pangu. As the universe’s factions weighed their options, Pangu reluctantly accepted their maneuvering so long as they did not force him to fill Return to Ruins.
Li Fan reflected on the Primordial World’s decline and concluded that conflict and plunder were essential to life, while the world’s perfect laws still faced material limits. He realized that Pangu had been the first to believe in the Return to Ruins, and that Li Fan’s transmigration had become an inevitability of the Great Dao’s Space-Time Law.
Pangu’s return divided the Primordial World’s forces between his camp and Li Fan’s, intensifying the Immeasurable Kalpa. While Pangu held back from confronting Li Fan, the Primordial parallel world and River of Time merged into Grand Unity Heaven, strengthening the Heavenly Emperor’s position.
Li Fan established the Primordial Great Reincarnation to preserve living beings and the ten thousand Daos, opposing Pangu’s plan to destroy the Primordial World and recreate chaos through Guixu Reincarnation. The two Great Daos collided in a decisive battle, with the outcome still unresolved.
Pangu confronted Luohu in Return to Ruins and overwhelmed him despite Luohu's World-Destroying Millstone. As Luohu fled, Li Fan used the Hongmeng Heaven-Covering Hand to remove Tongtian Jianmu and the Penglai Five Immortals Island from the Primordial World.
Li Fan attained the realm of the Great Dao, followed by Wangshu and Taiyuan, while the goddesses endured the Great Dao Tribulation within the Sea-Stabilizing Chaos Pearl. As Primordial Great Reincarnation began, Li Fan promised the goddesses they would meet again in the next Reincarnation.
Wangshu gave Li Fan eight love letters from the goddesses, each expressing gratitude for their shared trials and hope that they would meet again in Reincarnation. Li Fan answered Wangshu and Taiyuan with letters of his own, then embraced them as their Dao resonance intertwined.
After the Primordial Great Reincarnation ended, Li Fan and the goddesses reunited at the summit of the Great Dao and teased one another over their old love letters. Li Fan then described how the Return to Ruins Prehistoric Universe had transformed into a technological age ruled by Great Ming, and invited everyone to see it.
