Background / History

Hexi was one of the Three Kings of Merlot Heavenly Court, alongside Queen Holy Kaisa and Apocalypse King Liang Bing/Morgana. She helped lead the female Angels’ seizure of power from the male Angels, then retired alongside the old guard. Her title, Heavenly Foundation King, reflected her role as the calm cornerstone who mediated between Kaisa’s forceful rule and Morgana’s rebellious nature. After Hexi withdrew, the rift between the other two Kings worsened into Morgana’s rebellion. 426 519

Unlike Kaisa and Morgana, Hexi describes herself as lacking grand ideals or ambitions. She was pushed into leadership by circumstance, preferring a quiet life, research, and peaceful compromise to fighting for authority. 519

The Angels’ records identify the Kiddolas as “Cosmic Dragons,” a dangerous species previously confronted by Merlot Heavenly Court. Hexi remained behind to guard their territory while Kaisa led the operation in the Kilax Galaxy; Kaisa returned severely injured after losing a fifth of her accompanying elite troops. 529

Earth and the Thanos Crisis

Hexi investigates Earth after becoming interested in its civilization-development system and the complicated situation surrounding the Chi Wu Star System. She encounters an injured Kevin after Asgard’s fall, heals him, recognizes his flawed Apocalypse gene sequence, and refuses to be manipulated into joining Earth’s conflict without conditions. 518 519

Kevin agrees to help Hexi eliminate Sumari in return for assistance against Thanos, establishing their alliance. Hexi later intervenes in Kevin’s battle with Thanos, striking him into Jupiter with a pillar of light before being forced through a void rift by the counterattack. 520 569

After the war, she repeatedly explains the Infinity Gate and Kevin’s disappearance to visiting factions in Anti-Entropy City, helping stabilize their fears over the Solar System’s isolation. 572

Freyja Expedition

Hexi takes Kevin to Freyja to investigate the disappearance of the Angel and Demon Legions. She believes Queen Anixid may be connected to Merlot Heavenly Court’s fallen Left Wing Guard and possesses soul-based passwords for Kaisa’s weapon authorization. Her immediate objectives are to protect Anixid and obtain those passwords if circumstances demand it. 571 572 573

While infiltrating Freyja, Hexi and Kevin save a child from rampaging horses, are conscripted into Winter Fortress’s defense, and investigate the Howling Abyss with Sejuani. Hexi remains cautious of Anixid, treating the queen’s unification war as Kaisa’s test rather than a conflict to solve for her. 573 574 576

During the crisis around the Howling Abyss, Hexi creates an anti-Shoggoth program that can be embedded into ordinary weapons and deploys protective light barriers to stabilize soldiers afflicted by hostile mental phenomena. 580

She openly reveals her identity during Yordle City’s plague, restoring morale and saving the infected population. Later, she commands thousands of retired female Angels against Sumari’s forces, uses Star Fate to break the enemy’s Silver Blade Matrix, and directs Keira to eliminate hostile high-level Angels. 591 599 600

Guardian Angel and Merlot Succession

After the Freyja campaign, Hexi becomes Kevin’s guardian angel through an Angelic Oath of Protection. The oath also places her neutral retired female Angel faction under Kevin’s command. 603 604

With Kaisa missing, Hexi rejects the idea of immediately placing Anixid on Merlot Heavenly Court’s throne. Instead, she seeks to support Kevin as the King of All Angels, viewing him as a successor capable of uniting the Angel factions and confronting larger threats. 604 605

Hongmeng Galaxy and Angel–Demon Alliance

Hexi joins Kevin, Hela, Morgana, and the Angels in confronting Void-related dangers in the Hongmeng Galaxy. Though the galaxy’s history and the Ultimate Fear initially leave her deeply unsettled, she continues coordinating Angel forces and provides strategic judgment during the campaign. 607 610

She later helps lead the Angel-Demon Legion’s escape from pursuit, suspects the Yiren Civilization’s offered Great Worm Bridge is a trap, and protects her disciple Zhixin after Zhixin responds to the communication. 655 656

Following the conflict, Hexi brings an Earth fleet and Hongmeng Purple Qi to help Morgana rebuild Kunsa Star. In exchange, Morgana agrees to attend the Divine Authority Conference under the identity of the “Chaos Angel.” 665
