Background / History

Kevin’s original memories presented him as the son of an acquaintance and an Umbrella Corporation employee, but he later learned that this history had been artificially implanted. While posing as a tutor to Angela, he covertly investigated Umbrella from within. 2

At the beginning of the Raccoon City crisis, the Apocalypse combat system identified him as an “unstable existence” and a pseudo-information anchor named Kevin Kaslana. Completing an initial task stabilized his existence, sealed the pseudo-anchor, and granted him a leveling template powered by Evolution Points earned from eliminating Virus Strains. 1 4

His true origin was revealed much later: he was an alternate-timeline counterpart who had become trapped in the Quantum Sea for thousands of years. After his body nearly decomposed and his soul became unstable, the Human God Alaya sent him to Raccoon City, where he began establishing identity anchors and eventually merged with Kevin from a previous era. 721
