Background

Sasuke began as the Ninja Academy’s top student: a talented Uchiha with powerful bloodline potential, but still an inexperienced child who had never undertaken a mission. His life revolved around the Uchiha clan massacre and his conviction that killing his older brother, Itachi, was the meaning of his existence 1 15.

As a member of Wang Yan’s Team 7, Sasuke’s worldview was deliberately destabilized. Wang first challenged his self-image as a prodigy, then exposed the massacre’s political background: Fugaku Uchiha’s planned coup, Shisui’s intervention, Danzō’s proposal, and Itachi’s decision to slaughter the clan while preserving Sasuke 15 17. The revelation awakened Sasuke’s Two-Tomoe Sharingan, but also left him distrustful after discovering that Wang had kept him under an undetected genjutsu 15 17.

Reading the manga supplied by Wang Yan gave Sasuke knowledge of a possible future, including Itachi’s sacrifices, Naruto’s eventual rise, and the scale of threats beyond the Ninja World. Feeling powerless beside the “favored” figures described in the prophecy, he accepted a Reincarnator contract to seize control of his own fate 18 20.

Sasuke joins Naruto and Sakura under Wang Yan’s leadership. Wang attacks his self-confidence, forces the awakening of his Two-Tomoe Sharingan, and reveals the political circumstances behind the Uchiha massacre. Sasuke then receives manga detailing a possible future and becomes increasingly determined to escape its predetermined path 10 15 17 18.

Reincarnator conversion

After realizing that his projected future leaves him dependent on other people’s sacrifices and bloodline destiny, Sasuke accepts the Main God’s contract. He becomes Reincarnator No. 004 and begins planning his growth through missions, exchanges, alliances, and training 20 21 25.

Sunagakure trial

During Team 7’s training trip to Sunagakure, Sasuke studies Wang Yan’s abilities, attempts to cultivate connections, and participates in the virtual world of Shadow Breaking the Firmament. His performance earns the only Excellent rating among Team 7’s original trio 26 32 41.

Strongest Chunin Exams

Sasuke recognizes Itachi among Akatsuki’s participants and resolves to defeat him. He performs poorly in the written examination’s Nindo assessment, but later uses preparation and the Fairy Mask to defeat Itachi in virtual combat. Ten-Tails crisis
