Minato secured the Land of Fire’s support for the coming war as Naruto reunited with his family, faced Akatsuki, and took part in missions and exams. The stretch ended with Team Kakashi escorting Zabuza’s delegation and discovering that the Fourth Mizukage and Three Tails Jinchuriki had come to Konoha.

• Minato won the Land of Fire Daimyo’s approval and support for the allied campaign, then asked him to help bring the five daimyo together for peace discussions.
• Naruto and Hinata shared Konoha’s fireworks, and Naruto enlisted Jiraiya to modify the Mysterious Peacock Method.
• Minato coordinated Konoha’s response to Akatsuki’s attack, while Naruto and Itachi drove Kisame underwater with a powerful Exploding Water Colliding Wave.
• Naruto returned to Konoha, broke down in Minato and Kushina’s arms, and finally greeted them at home, and he later found Karin and brought her to them as a possible lost relative.

• Naruto fought Nadare Rōga’s team in the Land of Snow and later joined Kakashi’s mission escorting Fujikaze Yukie there.
• Orochimaru’s forces attacked Konoha, where Naruto, Minato, Kushina, Tsunade, and others fought the revived Hokage and Kazekage and captured the Sound shinobi.
• Naruto extracted the Nine Tails Chakra from Sora and joined Chiriku’s investigation into the theft of Bei Gen’s body.
• Naruto and his allies battled Mukade’s giant centipede in Rōran, while the Akatsuki recruited the Xuanyuan Crowd to pursue remaining Jinchuriki.
• Naruto learned that Mizuki and Orochimaru’s subordinates had escaped, then Konoha faced a Sky Ninja bombing raid as Naruto and Shino infiltrated their flying fortress.
• Naruto confirmed Shinno’s death and helped secure the fortress after Shisui defeated the last Sky Ninja, then Minato called Naruto and Shisui to meet the Mizukage.

Naruto and the Allied Forces repelled Akatsuki’s attacks, while the villages moved toward unity and Naruto’s life shifted into a new school and family chapter. The stretch ends with Team 7 beginning its first mission and meeting Yakushi Nono and Yakushi Kabuto at an orphanage.

• Naruto helped defend Sunagakure from Deidara and Sasori, then joined Minato and the other Kage as Akatsuki’s forces attacked across the nations.
• The Allied Forces fought Akatsuki’s monsters and the Five Kage agreed to unite their nations, while Naruto helped with defenses and land reclamation.
• Naruto began attending the Academy, befriended Sasuke, Shikamaru, and Choji, and watched the Uchiha youths join Might Guy’s team.
• Kushina adopted Kimimaro, and Naruto told Minato and Kushina about memories of a possible future before accepting Kimimaro as his older brother.
• Iruka assigned Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura to Team 7 under Kakashi, while Hinata joined Team 8 and Ino, Shikamaru, and Choji joined Team 10.
• Team 7 completed a cat-retrieval mission and received a C-Rank escort mission to the Land of Waves, which Tazuna accepted.

Naruto and his allies confronted Obito’s plan to revive the Ten Tails while Minato pursued peace with Nagato and Konan. After the battles, the story shifted to Naruto’s infancy and early village life, ending with Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura setting out with Jiraiya to find Tsunade.

• Orochimaru proposed using the nine Tailed Beasts to create miniature Ten Tails vessels, and Nine Tails offered two of his Chakra bodies as safer hosts.
• Naruto and his allies defeated Raiga, the Armored Men, and Hyde, destroying the Gelel Stone and rescuing Timsi and the captured children.
• Naruto warned Temari that Yura’s brain chakra seemed abnormal, then helped investigate the Fire Temple threat posed by Kazuma and his followers.

• Chiriku defeated Kazuma, and Naruto’s team recovered the four Guardian Ninja bodies before returning to Konoha.
• As a baby, Naruto grew close to Minato and Kushina as Konoha rebuilt after the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox attack and mourned its fallen residents.
