Captain Marvel Carol Danvers pressed her left hand against Tony Stark's chest and ignited a brilliant light explosion. The freezing sky over the Himalayas immediately lit up with a blazing radiance.
The light explosion erupted from Tony Stark's chest. Blasted by the impact, he fell diagonally like a meteor, the back of his armor scraping out fiery heat as he was hurled before Nick Fury's safe house, smashing out a two-meter-wide crater.
"JARVIS, look up her information. Where did she come from?" Tony Stark was shocked and furious. The Nano Armor's highly advanced protection and cushioning diverted all its energy toward protecting him from the shockwave, so he had not suffered any serious injuries.
If Steve Rogers had taken that blow, he probably would not have survived.
Tony Stark vaguely sensed that the glowing woman was an enemy, but she had held back. She had not intended to kill him immediately.
The sudden attack and being brought to the Himalayas left Tony Stark furious and confused. He was certain the Avengers had never fought this woman, nor had they ever seen her.

Carol Danvers, born in Massachusetts in 1962. She had two brothers, Stephen Danvers and Joseph Danvers Jr. Stephen was killed in the Vietnam War.
In 1985, she joined the Air Force. In 1989, she was recruited into a classified test flight program. No records remain of that classified operation. There are no further records of her afterward, including credit cards, license plates, or resident information."
