He shouted, and Mjolnir, tightly pinned down by Thanos's left hand using the Space Stone, went wild. Violent thunder surged, its silver radiance seeming ready to explode.
Thanos turned his head, surprise flashing in his eyes as he looked at Thor. He had not expected Odin's son to wield such powerful thunder.
If he had not used the Space Stone to redirect that thunderous power and restrain Thor with it, Thanos believed Thor would have been a troublesome foe.

Destroyer Drax saw nothing but flashing silver-white light. Thor's lightning struck his chest, turning his vision white, and in an instant he was blasted away like a cannonball.
