The stellar-class powerhouses of the Oa Pan-Stellar Domain Alliance watched with pupils contracted in shock as Heat Vision pierced the core of the Flame Energy Being, a fellow stellar-class powerhouse, and forcibly smoothed out the space around him.
The Flame Energy Being's death was too bizarre. There was none of the explosive force, chaos, or vastness of a stellar-class powerhouse and his star-like energy.
It was as though a great hand had smoothed away the raging, chaotic energy unleashed when his core was pierced, like a napkin on a table catching a spark, only for someone to slap it and extinguish the flame.
Without causing so much as a ripple, after his final, agonized screech, the Flame Energy Being was smoothed out of the universe by the spatial force carried in the Heat Vision. Even his last flickering flames subsided into the quiet of a universe dotted with distant lights, leaving the stellar-class powerhouses horrified and stunned.
A stellar-class powerhouse had died just like that, simply and without a ripple.
The supernova-class pillar of flame that the Flame Energy Being had unleashed a moment earlier, tearing through space, seemed like an illusion, something unreal.
"Was he... dead?" one stellar-class powerhouse asked in disbelief, but no one could give him a definitive answer.
To their eyes and senses, the Flame Energy Being was indeed dead. Not a trace of information remained, aside from his shrill, agonized screams.
Yet his death under He-El's Heat Vision felt so unreal that they could hardly believe it.
Could any stellar-class powerhouse kill another so easily?
They had only heard from the Guardians of the Universe that the Dark Lord, Darkseid, possessed such an ability. But surely even Darkseid could not kill a stellar-class powerhouse with a single glance.
