He-El's phantom hands froze over the keyboard, all ten fingers resting upon the keys. The room suddenly fell silent.
Young Marshal Kundi, finance officer Yi Bao, and armed soldier Bao Mo all snapped out of their delight at receiving money. He-El's sudden halt in his rapid typing made them feel as though their continuous source of money had also stopped.
They wanted to remind He-El not to stop sending money.
But when they saw that the messages on their phones had not stopped and deposits kept coming in, they ignored He-El.
He-El sank into deep thought.
The story of Lucy was roughly about Lucy, a twenty-five-year-old United States citizen studying and working in Taipei City, who was deceived by her boyfriend and became a drug mule.
One day, Lucy was forced by her boyfriend to make a drug deal and deliver a case containing the exorbitantly priced new drug CPH4 to Mr. Zhang. Lucy watched her boyfriend get killed, after which she too was imprisoned, and CPH4 was surgically sewn into her abdomen.
Lucy was forced to transport the drugs to Europe with three other drug mules.
However, after someone kicked Lucy in the abdomen, the CPH4 package ruptured and seeped into her organs and bloodstream, causing her to mutate and unlocking her brain's potential. Gradually, Lucy discovered that the drug had rapidly enhanced both her physical and mental abilities. She gained incredible powers such as telepathy, psychokinesis, and mental time travel. In the end, she could manipulate matter and magnetic fields, until she absorbed all the CPH4, traced back to the beginning of humanity, and became an omnipresent existence.
It sounded... rather absurd.
But He-El's expression was grave. He knew why he had encountered the time loop.
