"Your Majesty, be careful." Zeus stepped past He-El and condensed the Divine Power within his body into a giant hand of Divine Energy, pressing it down on Non, who was running toward them like a zombie, and pinning him to the ground.
Pinned to the ground, Non could only roar on instinct, his limbs struggling without pause.
He had become a zombie that knew only how to feed.
"Non..." He-El frowned tightly and stared at Non, whom Zeus was holding down.
Non had once been a renowned scientist on Krypton and Jor-El's mentor. He had also taught He-El many things and could be considered He-El's guide on Krypton.
Back on Krypton, He-El had led Jor-El and Non to discover that Krypton's core was nearing its end. Jor-El and Non both confirmed that something had gone wrong with Krypton, and they immediately wanted to make the news public, only to be scorned and mocked by the conservative Science Council.
When the two were preparing to reveal the results of their investigation to the public, the Science Council sent General Zod to arrest them.
The Science Council warned the captured Jor-El and Non not to spread heretical nonsense. Jor-El therefore chose to remain silent, preparing alone for Krypton's destruction by building a spacecraft and seeking another way out.
But out of a sense of responsibility, Non believed that everyone should know about Krypton's current crisis and still began spreading word of Krypton's impending destruction everywhere. Non even persuaded General Zod, who led some soldiers alongside him in an attempt to find a way out for Krypton and work for its protection.
This caused panic within the Science Council, which immediately arrested and punished Non.
After being punished, Non lost his intelligence. From then on, his mind could no longer form any thoughts.
